Scriptural Text:Ecclesiastes 9:10
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. “
Our scriptural text today warns against the tendency of being complacent or working half-heartedly. Instead, we are told to invest all our might or resources into the opportunities that comes to us. This is because until oneβs full potential is released in the implementation of a task, there is no hard-work, and without hard-work, accelerating is not guaranteed.
There are several reasons why a man may fail to deploy his full capabilities into his work. For one, such a man may be lazy, and unwilling to work. He may also be distracted by the thought that something else would be more productive and that he should therefore not fully invest in what he has at hand. These reasons are both counterproductive and must be eliminated in your pursuit of success.
You must therefore develop the ability to do all things with your full potential. Train your mind to release your potential on every assignment you are given, or a project that you embark on. Never do things half-heartedly, release to your full potential.

This is so true in today’s world how diligence is scarce in our work place.
We just do things without passion and desire.
I must release my full potential henceforth, this would increase my productivity.
Thank you Prophet.

Always thought-provoking. Potential is latent until it’s expressed fully. This year, I will spend and be spent,. Like Apostle Paul, I’d choose to be poured out like a drink offering, having completed every task with no backlogs. Help me Lordπ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬π
Maximizing my potential will come when I train my mind for it. It’s a level of excellence sponsored by the spirit of diligence. Thank you my Prophet for teaching us these. We can never be failures or mediocre in this life. Proud Gospel Pillarπ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬ππ¬πππ

Most time we go about our daily activities with the thought that we are not cut out for what we do and sometimes tend to be bored because it seems so hectic. However, we notice a sharp difference when we show more commitment to our work by learning new things and improved ways of doing what we do more excellently. This usually brings out the latent abilities in us and helps to find our day to day work more exciting and in the end we derived gains and fulfilment from what we do. From what I have learned from this devotional I will do diligence to continuously reinvent myself in a bid to become better from time to time and as a result release my full potentials. While working I can release my full potential by putting my whole heart to it…..this is very instructive. Furthermore, I could be distracted by believing that something else may be more productive than what I have at hand, hmm….this one is decryption and unpacking of coded wisdom. I am really blessed by the devotional today. All glory to God and thank you My prophet.

Thank you lord for this revelation
Two things hit me most in today’s devotional:
1. The later part of our opening scripture says; “there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
2. “Until oneβs full potential is released in the implementation of a task, there is no hard-work”
Deep food for thought!
