PERPETUATE YOUR HARVEST

PERPETUATE YOUR HARVEST

July 14, 2023
“Scriptural Text: Genesis 8:22 (NKJV)

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”

A farmer’s joy is full each time he reaps the harvest at the end of every season, and he knows that the power to replicate the same harvest the next season is in his own hands. He must separate the seeds to be planted for the next harvest from his present harvest. This is a wisdom we can learn today.

The seed for your future harvest is in your hands already. The blessings, victories and successes that God gives to you are not just for your pleasure. You are to consider how you may utilize the advantage that comes with these blessings to achieve more!

Has God blessed you with finances, be wise enough to sow back into the things of God. Have you experienced a promotion at school or at work? Be wise enough to re-invest the time, influence and other resources accompanying your new position into helping others to know God and attain a higher level themselves. This is the attitude that guarantees continuous harvest in your life all year round. Hallelujah!

Imagine a farmer who just harvested all his corn, sold them and spent all the money without keeping seed to replant or some money to buy seed against the next planting season, surely he won’t have seed for future harvest and this will only lead to regrets and wishful thinking. We must know what part of our harvest to keep and must wisely reinvest these resources to bring us continuous harvest.

As Christians, it is our duty to cultivate and nurture the seeds of goodness and righteousness in our lives and in the world around us. Just like a farmer who carefully tends to the soil, plants the seeds, and waters them, we must be intentional in planting good seeds of love, compassion, and kindness in our words and actions. Planting seeds of positivity and encouragement also helps to combat negativity and cynicism that may be prevalent in our world today. As believers, we have the power to change the narrative and shine a light on the goodness that exists within humanity. Our words of affirmation and acts of kindness have the potential to transform lives and bring healing to those who are hurting.
For any good seed we plant today we must surely reap the harvest being sowed so let’s sow good seeds.

So i have no body to blame but myself if my next harvest is below average. No wonder the bible says there is one who witholdeth more than is necessary and gets even poorer…The scripture CANNOT be BROKEN. I determine my influx in the next season.

When we sow seeds of love,we cultivate a sense of unity and understanding among believers and create an environment where others are drawn to the message of hope and grace. By consistently demonstrating genuine care and support for one another, we can uplift and inspire those around us, encouraging them to do the same. Moreover, let’s not forget the importance of planting seeds of faith. By sharing the message of salvation and the incredible love of God, we can sow seeds of hope that have an eternal impact. Through our actions and testimonies, we have the opportunity to show others the life-changing power of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
