Audio Version
Joel 2:23-24 (KJV) – “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.”
God is taking you beyond more than enough and into a dimension where your blessing overflows beyond what you can personally contain. Overflow is the level where God’s supply through your life becomes a resource for other people’s shifts. You are no longer just a recipient; you are becoming a river.
The shift from more than enough to overflow is released through sustained praise and expectant faith. God is not waiting for the perfect moment; He is waiting for the people whose praise creates the atmosphere for the double outpouring. Your joy and your worship right now are the triggers for the overflow.
Today, make a declaration of overflow over every area of your life that has been measuring at sufficiency. Rejoice before you see the rain and watch the vats begin to run over. This is your season of the former and latter rain falling together; receive it with open hands and a heart full of praise.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that overflow is upon your life right now! Your floors are full and your vats are running over with the blessing of the Lord. You have more than enough to give away and still have plenty remaining, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I rejoice today because the overflow season is mine. I receive the former and the latter rain together and I declare that my floors are full and my vats are overflowing. Let my abundance become a blessing to everyone around me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Senegal
Senegal, on the western tip of Africa, is a nation of approximately 17 million people renowned for its democratic stability and peaceful coexistence. Around 95% of the population identifies as Muslim, with powerful Sufi brotherhoods deeply embedded in national culture and politics. Christians make up roughly 4% to 5%, and evangelical Christianity is growing slowly against significant cultural barriers. Prayer, long-term relationship building, and community service are the key strategies missionaries and local believers use to see lasting Kingdom fruit.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, we declare that Senegal is a nation destined for a move of God. Let the seeds of decades of prayer and faithful missionary work suddenly break ground and produce a harvest that fills the nation with Your glory in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, we declare a shift in Senegal’s political and spiritual leadership in this generation. Let men and women who fear God and serve the people rise to the top and let this nation take its place as a beacon of righteousness in West Africa in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Lord, hasten the fulfilment of every prophetic word You have spoken over Israel. Let the times of the Gentiles be completed and let the fullness of the nations come in as Israel steps into her destiny in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let unity in the Church in Senegal become the greatest witness to the Muslim majority around them. Let the love of God among believers be so extraordinary that their neighbours are drawn to ask what makes it possible in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, we declare that Senegal’s greatest harvest is not in its past; it is in the generation that is alive right now. Let a move of God sweep through this nation that the history books have no category for in Jesus’ name.
