“Scriptural Text: Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV)
“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
Consider the words of Moses to the people of Israel in our opening text today. On the verge of giving up, Moses had reassuring words for them to keep their hopes alive, as they await the fulfillment of God’s promise to them.
Those words from Moses were faith-filled words that re-energized the people to press on towards claiming what God has already given them, but what happened to their faith in the first place? The people of Israel had heard and meditated on fear-filled words and they began to doubt if God could really come through for them and fulfil His promise. How sad!
Waiting on God is a lot easier when you are surrounded by those whose faith in God is unwavering. The Bible tells us that iron sharpens iron, and a man can sharpen the countenance of another (Prov. 27:17). This calls for the need to be around those who trust in the integrity of God and would stop at nothing to put you in remembrance of what God’s Word says and what God will do.
Therefore, take the bold step today to starve your fear by separating yourself from those whose words deflate your faith in God. Rather, fellowship with God’s Word and keep company with faith-filled believers, because that is how to keep your faith alive.

Keeping the company of faith-filled people will boast your faith in God, the reverse is the case when the people you are surrounded with are doubters.

Faith killers…bad company, ungodly persons who stand idly by when the things of God are violated. I say get thee behind me and I stear clay of this group to be blessed in life, in the Matchless Name of Jesus Christ.

As wrong company can deflate your faith. Help me Lord to keep my faith alive even in the face of difficult challenges.
The moment when you begin to lose faith, get discouraged at the promises of God , that the best time to re-energize. yourself by listening to faith filled words from people around you or the scriptures.
We have to be careful how we hear and what we see, as these have direct impacts on our faith positively or negatively.

I was glad when they said unto me – let us go to the house of our Lord. This is what many children of God no longer do.
Fellowshipping with the brethren has kept the wind in my sail countless times! I thank God for the gift of faith-filled believers.
Thank You Lord Jesus for such a beautiful Word this morning.
I pray that You bring Kingdom minded friends, partners, colleagues, family members, bosses and helpers into our lives to influence us into the direction You’ve destined for us in Jesus name.
Meditation of God’s Word reveals new and deeper sides of Him that strengthens our faith.
This words this morning is so encouraging to me, as it telling me to stay with the word and fellowship with brethren’s in the Lord whose believe and trust is in the Lord, keeping their Faith in the word of God.
Keeping company with people of like minds has a way of affecting your life and the outcome of it, so, with that I will keep company with people that believe in God’s words, not wavering and holding on.
No Word, no faith! No faith, no result!!

The word of God is what can carry any believer through in these times so you can’t afford to sideline studying the word else you start living in fear.
Consider the words of Moses to the people of Israel in our opening text today. On the verge of giving up, Moses had reassuring words for them to keep their hopes alive, as they await the fulfillment of God’s promise to them.
Those words from Moses were faith-filled words that re-energized the people to press on towards claiming what God has already given them, but what happened to their faith in the first place?
The people of Israel had heard and meditated on fear-filled words and they began to doubt if God could really come through for them and fulfil His promise. How sad!
Waiting on God is a lot easier when you are surrounded by those whose faith in God is unwavering.
The Bible tells us that iron sharpens iron, and a man can sharpen the countenance of another (Prov. 27:17).
This calls for the need to be around those who trust in the integrity of God and would stop at nothing to put you in remembrance of what God’s Word says and what God will do.
Therefore, take the bold step today to starve your fear by separating yourself from those whose words deflate your faith in God.
Rather, fellowship with God’s Word and keep company with faith-filled believers, because that is how to keep your faith alive.
During the message on Sunday, God’s Prophet warned us about the kind of people we share our dreams with!
You don’t want to share your dreams with people that have no input or advice for you but to tell you that you can’t do it.

David’s conviction of victory over Goliath came from his meditation of his victory over the bear and Lion, how God rescued him. Hence, he was double sure that God would do same over Goliath and God did not disappoint him as always. It is very important we follow this booster of faith.
Thanksgiving and praise are also faith boosters, that God will do as He has spoken. We ought to always thank and praise God for what He has done and what He would do. This is a quick charge of faith.
Surround yourself with brothers and sisters of same faith that can strengthen you in times of weakness!

Fear comes from doubt and doubt comes from lack of faith, if we truly believe in God and His son, our faith would be unwavering.
