Scriptural Text:
Mark 4:39 (NKJV)
” – And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
In our opening text today, we see the Lord Jesus speaking against the raging storm encountered by His disciples as they sailed, and we do have great lessons to learn from this.
Storms are an inevitable part of life. They may come in the form of health challenges, financial struggles, or other issues that often leave us overwhelmed. While Jesus never promised a storm-free life, He assured us of His presence and power amid the storms of life (John 16:33).
Just as the disciples faced a literal tempest on the sea, you may encounter storms that shake you to your core sometimes. In such moments, remember that you are not alone, and you have in you and with you the one who has all power in heaven and on earth (Matt. 28:18). With this confidence, and the revelation of your authority in Christ, you can rebuke the devil in your situation and restore peace and order in your life (Phil 2:9-11).
Therefore, if you find yourself in the midst of a storm today, remember that you are not helpless. Do not panic or allow the devil to run rampage in your health, home, or business. Rather, nip his activities in the bud by exercising your authority in Christ. Be courageous, knowing that nothing can stand against the power in the name of our Saviour – Jesus Christ.

Authority is an ability to control or command things, as a believer no matter the storm, we can be able to control it just as Christ said to us that I have given you power and authority to cast out devil’s 🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾
It is not unspiritual to face challenges, but it is unscriptural to be defeated,
Therefore, I receive grace to war against my challenges.
Thank you sir🙏🏻
Authority is a delegated power given to another individual by a higher power. The purpose of which is to control and ensure things are in alignment with what the one that gives that authority wants. We have been given authority in Christ to be used to put the devil in order ensuring his operations does not contradict what Jehovah wants.

My Prophet of God thank you for reminding me once again of my Authority in Christ. Like Prophet has been teaching everything in the kingdom is a test. The storm tested the Authority of Our LORD Jesus, and got what it didn’t expect, a slap from the Master, ‘be quite’. Prophet also taught how that God would sometimes withdraw is covering a little, that is no total covering to allow the manifestation and use of what we have learnt him. Problems and troubles are in fact the true proof of God been with us, because it’s easier to be with someone when things are good, but our God is always there! Glory to the God of my Prophet!!!

It’s true that adversity or challenges in our lives are inevitable but Jesus has shown and promised us that we can exercise our authority and speak to any “mountain” and it shall yield to our authority as long as we are in faith, demonstrating what God has given us in Christ.

Every storm we face in life can be brought down if only we can believe that we will overcome, Yes! It might be scary but one thing is sure that with a strong faith in Christ knowing that God is with us there sure will be a solution and so we need not panic but rather channel the strength to courage and you will find solution to it. Thank you sir for this words of encouragement.
What a Great Understanding that just by a simple decision to fix the storms of life, by the Authority I have in Christ Jesus, my victory is certain.

God never promised that we wouldn’t go through, He only said that at the other side of any storm there is a way out if only we don’t not allow fear to weigh us down, these storms of life are also exams we need to write to build our faith in God,and so we must learn to be still and believe in God then will solution come as we meditate in the word
You may not realize you have authority until you start exercising it. Glory!!!
True. When he seems not to be there, he is there behind the scene working it out. All we need is say No to the devil
Hallelujah… Most Christains do not know that they have the power and authority in Christ Jesus that’s why devil mesmerize them but when we realize that Christ Jesus has given us power and authority to dislodge the devil he becomes afraid of us.

I believe as a Christian that the lord has given dominion over everything according to Ephesians 1:21. We should always be able to speak to any situation that we are and he will answer us because he is with us always. Remember that God can do all things, but God will do nothing, except a man prays. Ask and it shall be given, knock and it shall be open.
I pray that God help us to be courageous always and give us the confidence to exercise the authority he has given to us in Jesus name🙏🙏🙏🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾

No situation in life is more powerful than the imputed authority in us but our level of intimacy with the Giver absolutely determines the knowledge of how such can be effectively implemented in all life circumstances .
Thus, having been conscious of our authority in Christ, it’s our responsibility to lean on the HolySpirit for the exercise of such power so as to prevent abuse and underused of it.

This devotional reminds us of the Power we have in Christ Jesus, bible says Christ in you is the hope of Glory but we will never see the Glory if we dont have Faith in him and also Trust he has the power to do all things.
We cant be confident in Christ when we dont know him(intimate) not just saying you know him by lip service but having a Fellowship with him. The bible says in the book of Daniel ” those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits”. If we dont have a practical experience of the hand of God in our life we tend to doubt and disbelieve
First of all before we can exercise authority if we dont have Faith which comes by the word, this increases our belief system and gives us assurances that we have the strength to overcome situations. The more you know him, Christ becomes very real to you in that process makes you have Encounters which produces Confirmation this confirmation birth Faith in this Faith you have the Authority to move mountains.
Thank you Lord Jesus!

Exercising your authority when facing difficulty should be the duties of every believer, because the Bible said that the Lord has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind.
Most at times we see the storms or mountains in front of us but to command the situation to obey us is what we lack and we fail to realise we have a God that has authority over everything and He expect us to exercise the same authority he has on our situations.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 KJV
Imagine how boring and purposeless life will be without challenges. Its just like playing a very easy video game. It wont take long before you delete it. A lot of time we want to play games that are challenging and tasks our mind. But when it comes to real life senerio, we just want things to go easy.
But real life is really no different. So embrace challenges today know that you have an advantage which Christ. Because you know that when you surmount a challenge, you raise in rank.
Make up your mind to be committed to the ranks today.

“Authority is a legal right”
Often a times, who is backing us goes a long way in our confidence. No matter how empty my account may be, I can not be scared of lack or suffering, if my earthly father was Dangote. Therefore, my present situation doesn’t affect or define my attitude or spirit, I know what I possess and I know what I can command, through the power of my earthly father.
We may not have Dangote as our earthly father, we have someone greater (Jesus Christ), maker of heaven and earth. This alone should give us comfort, because we know the power we posses.

God’s test is always a way of preparing us for the next level
Authority is a delegated power given to another individual by a higher power. The purpose of which is to control and ensure things are in alignment with what the one that gives that authority wants. We have been given authority in Christ to be used to put the devil in order ensuring his operations does not contradict what Jehovah wants.
I use my authority in Christ
Yes sir! Realizing and using our authority in Christ in times of challenges helps us to overcome it faster and better.
So true most times the storms we face comes to test us and we can only overcome by exercising our authority in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah
My God!!!! This is why I always hold myself strong not to forget to read the devotional earlier, was already feeling disappointed cause of my work but as soon as I pick this up my thought on everything I was thinking change immediately…..

As believers,Jesus never promised us a life void of challenges and storm. But he assures us of his presence with us during such times. We must learn to carry our cross and follow Jesus knowing that when God allows us to go through a storm, it is a vote of heaven’s confidence in us. God’s word is soothing and we can find strength to overcome any storm when we have the word of God in our hearts. Thank you Jesus for your assurance that you’re always with us even in difficult times.
The storms offer us the opportunities to demonstrate our authorities as sign to draw the attention of the world to the kingdom of God.
I have been touched by this, don’t have a doubting mindset, if not you cant exercise your authority
Storms are an inevitable part of life, NOT THAT THEY WILL NOT COME, they will come, but they they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength
Jesus never promised a storm-free life, He assured us of His presence and power amid the storms of life
you may encounter storms that shake you to your core sometimes, but God has promised us his presence and power

As believers, we have been given a great authority in Christ Jesus. This authority comes from the fact that we have been made new creations in Christ, and have been given the power to access the fullness of God through the Holy Spirit. It is essential that we exercise this authority in our daily lives, as we face various challenges and trials. We exercise our authority by speaking the word of God with boldness and confidence, knowing that every word we speak in alignment with God’s will carries power and authority. We can also exercise our authority through prayer, interceding for ourselves and others, and declaring God’s promises over our lives.

It is important to remember that our authority in Christ Jesus is not for personal gain or selfish ambition, but for the advancement of God’s kingdom on earth. We must exercise it with humility and a heart to serve others, following the example of Jesus who came to serve and not to be served.
As Christians, we have been called to a life of victory, not defeat. We have been empowered to overcome every obstacle and challenge that comes our way. Let us, therefore, exercise our authority in Christ Jesus with boldness, knowing that we have been given all that we need to live a victorious life.

I have an authority in Christ Jesus, Glory to God
I exercise my authority in Christ Jesus over every storm and situation in my , PEACE BE STILL
Storms are an inevitable part of life. They may come in the form of health challenges, financial struggles, or other issues that often leave us overwhelmed. While Jesus never promised a storm-free life, He assured us of His presence and power amid the storms of life (John 16:33).
Glory to God for this

I choose to start exercising my authority from today!
Halleluyah, Thank You Lord
“While Jesus never promised a storm-free life, He assured us of His presence and power amid the storms of life (John 16:33).” True word
Wow… so just as the disciples faced a literal tempest on the sea, we may encounter storms that shake us to our core sometimes. In such moments, we ought to remember that we are not alone, and we have in us and with us the one who has all power in heaven and on earth
Glory to God for today’s word
Wow! I receive and run with this word, so help me God
Innocent Ekeleme
Yes sir! Realizing and using our authority in Christ in times of challenges helps us to overcome it faster and better.
My Prophet of God thank you for reminding me once again of my Authority in Christ.
The storms are actually our test. The amazing think is that we have the ability to pass the test. Because God will not test you beyond what you can handle.
True words most situation are test for a higher level

Glory! I am threading on those unscrupulous beings today.

No more fear, feelings of dismay, glory to God
Thank you Lord for this great word of reassurance. With Jesus by my side, I can calm every storm that comes in the course of life’s journey.
He is with me till the end of time and I exercise the authority I have in him.
I say No to Fear and I expect Marvelous things in my life regardless. I have authority in Christ and I maximize it.
It is not unspiritual to face challenges, but it is unscriptural to be defeated,
Therefore, I receive grace to war against my challenges.
Authority is an ability to control or command things, as a believer no matter the storm, we can be able to control it just as Christ said to us that I have given you power and authority to cast out devil’s
My Prophet of God thank you for reminding me once again of my Authority in Christ. Like Prophet has been teaching everything in the kingdom is a test
The storm tested the Authority of Our LORD Jesus, and got what it didn’t expect, a slap from the Master, ‘be quite’. Prophet also taught how that God would sometimes withdraw is covering a little, that is no total covering to allow the manifestation and use of what we have learnt him.
True. When he seems not to be there, he is there behind the scene working
My God!!!,I have the authority in Christ Jesus to rebuke the storm raveling in my life.
The actualization of this authority given to us by Christ Jesus will help boost the confidence of using it in any phase of our life
Most christians have been robbed of so much for the refusal to utilize this power at a given situation resulting from the fear of the unknown, and the ignorance of the authority in their life .
Jesus knew he had the authority,so he could speak to a waveling storm, and it could hear and stay it’s hands..
.
Thank you Jesus 🙏

you can rebuke the devil in your situation and restore peace and order in your life..
Hmm 🤔🤔🤔🤔
I heard that my prophet sir..
I take up my armor and exercise my authority I have received from our Lord Jesus Christ
It’s true that adversity or challenges in our lives are inevitable but Jesus has shown and promised us that we can exercise our authority and speak to any “mountain” and it shall yield to our authority as long as we are in faith, demonstrating what God has given us in Christ.
I use my authority in Christ sir
I’m not compromising
Gloryyyy to God
What a Great Understanding that just by a simple decision to fix the storms of life, by the Authority I have in Christ Jesus, my victory is certain.
Hallelujah
They may come in the form of health challenges, financial struggles, or other issues that often leave us overwhelmed. While Jesus never promised a storm-free life, He assured us of His presence and power amid the storms of life (John 16:33). Lagos Nigeria
Glory!!!
Hallelujah… Most Christains do not know that they have the power and authority in Christ Jesus that’s why devil mesmerize them but when we realize that Christ Jesus has given us power and authority to dislodge the devil he becomes afraid of us.
Hallelujah God never promised that we wouldn’t go through, He only said that at the other side of any storm there is a way out if only we don’t not allow fear to weigh us down, these storms of life are also exams we need to write to build our faith in God,and so we must learn to be still and believe in God then will solution come as we meditate in the word
You may not realize you have authority until you start exercising it. Glory!!!
It’s so amazing, how our Scriptural Text showed us by the example of christ, how to confidently exercise our Authority in christ. Hallelujah I’m Bolder now. Glory to God
I pray that God help us to be courageous always and give us the confidence to exercise the authority he has given to us in Jesus name
Glory to God
My God!!!! This is why I always hold myself strong not to forget to read the devotional earlier, was already feeling disappointed cause of my work but as soon as I pick this up my thought on everything I was thinking change immediately…..
Storms are natural with existence in time. Only don’t get controlled by it!! Control it rather with the Word of God!
My god
Glory to God
My god
Peace comes understanding that God will never give us more than we can bear. He has also created a way of escape.
Glory to god
My god
We also need to understand and believe this truth, that God is with us all the way, through the fire, water, darkness, etc.
If we understand the sacrifice Jesus paid for us, we will.understand the depth of power His name commands and hence will not be afraid when trials surface.
Glory to God
Hallelujah
If the person of Jesus could defeat every trial while physically on earth, His name can likewise do same even now!!
God permits storms to train us to be better, stronger, more humble and strong in faith.
God can never never fail! He has not! He cannot! It’s not in Him to. His promises are yea and Amen!! Trust Him.
Through eternity, there has never been a Word of God that fell to the ground. Not one!! What has God told you? Speak same when the opposite seem to be the occassion.
Fix your eyes on God’s unfailing nature and you will experience peace like no other because no storm can overpower you when you are overwhelmed by this revelation.
THE WORD OF GOD IS OUR INHERITANCE AND POWER TO DEFEND OUR LIVES. WITH THE WORD, WE ARE ABLE TO CONQUER ALL THE NEGATIVITIES OF LIFE. WE STAND MOVE SUCCEED AND SURVIVE THROUGH STORMS.
Your reaction to your situation is tied to the depth of Truth of the Word of God you know and have experienced.
God’s integrity is unbroken!! And it is not about to! I dare you to trust it!! Selah
We get troubled because we forget who God is. Understand – He is not a man. HE DOES WHAT HE PROMISES!!
FAITHFUL IS HE WHO HAS PROMISED. THE SAME WILL DO IT!! SELAH!
There is really power in words that we speak especially in the name of our lord Jesus Christ.
Thank u sir
Pls understand- GOD IS NOT FLESH!! Every ability and virtue man is not, God is!! Everything man cannot, God can!! SELAH.
God can never break His Word even though we unfortunately break ours sometimes. We suffer the consequences of our unfaithfulness but what God has promised always stand!
We faint because we do not know God. We become weary in faith because we do not put to heart His promises.
It is important to stamp the promises of God in and all around you. What you see and hear fills yours heart and put of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks – faith or fear, peace or worry, etc.
The power in the name of Jesus cannot be over emphasized. It can break the hardest fenses and still the fiercest storm!!
Philippians 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth! So, with boldness, speak the name of Jesus over that situation. Every situation must bow to the authority of His name!
Prophet Isaiah MacWealth would say, “THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO WORRY, USE IT TO PRAY!” Indeed, it takes longer time to worry than to pray!!
All so true and accurate. God is really speaking to me
If you find yourself in the midst of a storm today, remember that you are not helpless. Do not panic or allow the devil to run rampage in your health, home, or business. Rather, nip his activities in the bud by exercising your authority in Christ.
If you can pray, there is a God that can answer. But we don’t because we allow our storm weary us. How so? We see or focus our storm instead of Him.
We sink in our storms because our eyes are on the fierceness of our storms instead of the Terribleness of our God who made it!!
KNOW YOUR GOD!!!!!! How great He is!! How awesomely He operates! How mysteriously He navigates and the Integrity of His Personality and Magnitude of His Divinity! Then you will understand why you do would not need to worry about your situation but will have great faith to tackle it.
The more of God we know, the more miracles we will experience and more storms we will get still.
Life and death is in the power of the tongue. Use it wisely and you will experience peace like a river.
If God be for you, what storm can overpower against you? He that is for you is greater than he that is in the world.
If God be for you, what storm can overpower against you? He that is for you is greater than he that is in the world.
It greatly puzzled Jesus how deeply worried the disciples were even with He in the storm with them. Is it that they didn’t believe in Him enough? Rightly so. The presence of Jesus with us ought to give us assurance and rest in the midst of the trials.
Jesus was all calm because He had a deep understanding and undeniable truth of the power locked within Him.
Wow…
This is just it…
Yes…
Very true…
Exactly ..
Another problem is we don’t know the God in us as believers, how powerful He has made us. We are not just humans. We are made in His image after His likeness. It is important to have this understanding and utilize it in the face of your storm.
Hmmmmn…
We have become to used to and operated so long in the system of this world — Sight! The way of the kingdom of God is faith. And faith is build on God’s Word.
The problem is how much of God’s Word is deposited in us. Remmeber, the Word of God is POWER!!
Many atimes, we walk in disobedience. This is a killer of faith. At the time of turmoil, you don’t have enough faith to wield power because you feel you are not righteous enough. This hinders your ability to bend the storm.
Know this, storms as well as every other trials are intelligent. Yes, they are! They understand authority! And they are programmed to only bend to the authority in the Lord Jesus – the authority in the name, the authority in the blood, the authority in His Word.
Do you have the authority to command a storm? Yes. How well do you know you can?
How are you recognized by storms? The degree of your followership with Jesus is to the degree of authority you can command in the realm of the spirit.
You can only revenge and succumb disobedience (storms) when your own obedience is complete. Acts 19:14-16 tells us, how that the sons of sceva were disgraced by a demon who asked them a simple question, “Jesus we know, Paul we know. But who are you?” And the demon beat them mercilessly and wounded them that they ran away naked. Why? They were not recognized as being with Jesus.
Hallelujah!
By what authority will you calm the storm? If you are not subject to the authority of Jesus, the storm of life will not be subject to you. You can only command authority when you are subject under it. Any authority you are not subject to, you cannot command.
It is important to fully comprehend The Truth of God’s Word. This strengthens us to stand strong and handle our storms.
The level of peace we experience is based on the depth of knowledge we have of our God.
Thank you lord!
Stop telling God how big your storm is. Start telling the storm how big your God is!
Glory to God!
STORMS ARE ONLY AS STRONG AS YOU FEAR THEM!! Storms are only as strong as you fear them! Your fears and doubts empower your storms.
Storms are only as impactful as you let them!
Songs of praise and thanksgiving to God shrinks your storm and converts it into carpets for you to walk on.
Yes sir
True
Very true
Thank you Lord
Your faith and focus on Jesus makes you command storms and not be swallowed by them.
Oh Hallelujah
Glory to God
Every storm is a test of our faith and reliance on God. Pass your test!!
If you faint in the time of adversity, your faith is small. Storms show the quality of our faith in God.
Trust in God!! He will get you through it. You’ll see!!
It is the Word of God well digested (medidated upon) and stored in you that pops out suddenly in the time of trial.
In your time of peace, go for battle training and storm combat. How? By seriously eating and speaking the Word. The Word is full of weapons that would diffuse and calm your every storm.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He could calm the storm then, He can still do it now. His potency remains the same. Why not call on Him? He’s right where you are!!
Jesus assures us in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, ‘He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do;…'” What Jesus did, you can using His authority!
Thank you sir for today’s devotional 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Wow! This is so profound. With the revelation of your authority in Christ, you can rebuke the devil and restore peace and order in your life.
Alot of people have a misconception of what Christianity is. They jump in with the mindset that once they get born again, life is all bed of roses, milk and honey, stressfree and storm absent. Then they get disappointed, calling God a liar and Jesus false when they go through storms beyond their control and God is seemingly silent or far. Meanwhile they are the ones not applying the right principles and tactics God has given us to tackle every storm.
BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD!!
Be courageous, knowing that nothing can stand against the power in the name of our Saviour – Jesus Christ. Yes! This gets me jumping for joy!!
Deep revelation
Today’s message is so insightful.
Authority is a form of power that can only be exercised in submission to the issuing government. As believers, the bible urges us to submit to God before resisting the devil.
Hallelujah!!
Thank you lord . I needed this today. This made me feel better . Thank you my father

Declare the word of God with Authority
