Audio Version
1 Kings 4:24 (KJV) – “For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings: and he had peace on all sides round about him.”
When you walk in the dominion God has given you, peace becomes the natural atmosphere of your life. True dominion brings order where there was chaos, stability where there was uncertainty, and confidence where there was fear. This peace is not dependent on the absence of challenges, but on the assurance that every area of your life is under the sovereign authority of God.
The peace that flows from dominion guards your heart and governs your decisions. It enables you to respond with wisdom instead of panic and with faith instead of fear. Even when circumstances are turbulent, your spirit remains settled because you know that God is in control and His hand is upon your life.
Today, as you continue to walk in God’s dominion, His peace extends beyond you and touches everything connected to you. Your home becomes a place of rest, your relationships are strengthened, and your work is established in tranquility. Wherever God’s dominion is embraced, His peace prevails, bringing order, fruitfulness, and the assurance of His abiding
presence.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree peace on every side around you! No more wars. Enter your season of endless victories, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You that dominion establishes peace in my life and in my sphere of influence. I declare that I am walking in deep inner peace because everything in my life is coming under proper alignment and proper authority. I exercise my dominion in a way that creates peace, not conflict, and I extend that peace to all who come under my care, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ethiopia
Ethiopia is one of the oldest nations in the world and one of the fastest-growing Christian populations on the African continent, with Christians comprising approximately 62% of the population, predominantly Ethiopian Orthodox in tradition, alongside a rapidly growing evangelical movement. The nation has a deep biblical heritage, being referenced in Scripture and home to one of the earliest Christian communities in the world. Ethiopia faces significant challenges including internal ethnic conflict, border disputes, a humanitarian crisis in some regions, and the pressure of Islamic expansion in the Horn of Africa. Yet the Church in Ethiopia is vibrant, prayerful, and growing, with a deep tradition of fasting and intercession.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the Church in Ethiopia exercise dominion that establishes peace throughout the nation. Let believers become peacemakers and let the peace of God rest on the land in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let the leaders of Ethiopia walk in dominion that brings peace and security to the nation. Let their leadership be marked by the kind of confidence that creates stability and peace in Jesus’ name.
