Abiding in Christ are the choice we make or the things we do to stay connected to Him in fellowship. They include spending time in prayer and worship, studying the Word and fellowshipping with other believers. As you do, you will find the grace and strength to live above darkness.
When we say we are Christ’s, our lives ought to be like his- full of grace and truth. Don’t settle for being a fan of Jesus; become a mirror of Him. Walk as He walked. Think, speak, and live like the One you claim to follow.
Walking in love means choosing to forgive those who wrong us, rather than holding onto bitterness and resentment, apologizing even when we are not wrong. It is giving up our rights for peace to reign, loving others unconditionally, showing kindness and compassion, and forgiving those who wrong us.
When we face challenges that seem insurmountable, we can follow Jesus’ example and submit to God’s will. Submitting to God’s will means we know that God is in control and we trust him to fulfil his word regardless of how bleak the situation may seem.
Understanding is not just about knowing facts or information; it’s about possessing insight into the inner workings of a thing or subject. Without understanding, we may stumble upon success by chance, but we will not be able to replicate it. The good news is that we can ask the Lord for understanding, and He will grant it to us.
Our lives should be a reflection of His love, mercy, and righteousness. To continue in sin while carrying His name is to invite contradiction in your spiritual identity. You are not alone in your struggles, God is always there to help you.
Build a consistent prayer life of life irrespective of challenges or circumstances. If you will prevail consistently, you must build a strong prayer life. Decide on your prayer times not matter how small and begin today.
The tongue has the power to shape our reality. When we choose to speak truth, we pave the way the spirit of God to flow in our lives releasing peace, and God’s blessings. Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you refrain your tongue from evil.
Our bodies are no longer our own, but rather sacred temples set apart for God’s purpose and glory. When we fail to live up in line with this truth, we can compromise the operation of God’s power in our lives. Yield your body to His lordship. Consecrate every part of your being to His will.
One of the clearest expressions of that alignment is in our conversations. Our words either come from a heart that has been seasoned through communion with the word and the Spirit or they are shaped by residue of fear, doubt, and sin. However, Christ has redeemed us by His blood, we have been made righteous and empowered to speak like Him.
