Audio Version
Luke 5:15-16 (KJV) – “But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities. And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.”
The shift God brings you into is sustained by prayer, not by the applause of the crowd or the momentum of success. As fruitfulness increases, your dependence on God must increase with it, or the elevation will not hold. Prayer is the infrastructure that keeps your new level standing in every season.
The higher you go, the more you need to pray, not less. Greater responsibility brings greater warfare and a greater need for supernatural wisdom and grace. Believers who neglect prayer at their new level often discover too late that, although the elevation was real, their roots were too shallow to sustain it.
Today, make a covenant with God that your prayer life will grow with every new level He takes you to. Let the busyness of fruitfulness never become the reason your communion with Him decreases. A sustained prayer life is the most powerful guarantee that what God has lifted will not fall.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that your elevation is divinely sustained and cannot be dismantled! Your new level is standing on the foundation of prayer and the power of God. You will not fall from where God has placed you and you are going even higher, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, as I go higher, I commit to pray more. Sustain the new level You have brought me to by the power of Your Spirit and let nothing crowd out my time with You. My elevation is secure because it is rooted in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Senegal
Senegal, on the western tip of Africa, is a nation of approximately 17 million people renowned for its democratic stability and peaceful coexistence. Around 95% of the population identifies as Muslim, with powerful Sufi brotherhoods deeply embedded in national culture and politics. Christians make up roughly 4% to 5%, and evangelical Christianity is growing slowly against significant cultural barriers. Prayer, long-term relationship building, and community service are the key strategies missionaries and local believers use to see lasting Kingdom fruit.
Prayer for a Nation:
Lord, raise up bold indigenous evangelists in Senegal who will take the Gospel to their own people with love and power. Let the Church in Senegal multiply rapidly from within and become a movement that cannot be stopped in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Lord, grant Senegal’s government the wisdom to build a nation where every faith is treated with dignity and fairness. Let the historically tolerant spirit of the nation be protected and let the Gospel have full freedom to run in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, open the eyes of the Jewish people to see Yeshua as their Messiah and King. Let a great awakening sweep through Israel and let millions step into the covenant You have always intended for them in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Lord, let indigenous Senegalese believers and foreign missionaries work together as genuine partners without hierarchy or competition. Let the Church in Senegal be truly one in vision, strategy, and love in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Lord, send the fire of the Holy Ghost into the Sufi brotherhoods of Senegal. Let the spiritual hunger that drives people into religious systems be redirected into a genuine encounter with the living Christ in Jesus’ name.
