“Scriptural Text:
Daniel 5:12 (KJV)
Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. ”
If you have a habit of always running away from situations then, you are not ready to enter into the place that is designed for you. This is because no one is promoted or given any reward without having first worked for it or provided solutions to problems.
From the scriptures above, we see a major example of a man who solved problems. Daniel was known as a man who interpreted dreams, answered hard questions, and dissolved doubts. In other words, he was a problem solver.
Joseph is another great example of a problem solver. They both interpreted dreams that their kings found difficult, and were promoted to become deputies to the king. (Genesis 41)
On the other hand, we see another set of persons who had a wrong approach to solving problems. These were the wise men of Babylon who told the king that it was impossible to narrate and interpret his dream. (Daniel 2)
But Daniel had a diferent attitude to hard situations or difficult problems. He went home, consulted with his other Hebrew brothers, prayed, and the scriptures recorded that the secret of the king was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. (Dan. 2:16-17)
This is how you ought to handle every hard situation or problem that comes your way. Never say it is impossible or there is no solution.
There is a solution in you. Like Daniel, all you need to do is consult others and ask questions where you need to, spend time to think or meditate on the problem and most importantly, ask the Holy Spirit for help. He is with you to teach and show you the solution. Glory to God.

Just yesterday, I went to make enquiries about getting a bus from the BRT station, the first person I met said it wasn’t possible to get buses for Church because they do not work on Sundays. I think this attitude is very similar to the attitude of the Chaldeans, they refused to even go back to research and ask questions. I think when we don’t know the answer or solution to a thing the first attitude is to ask, how can this thing work? and not it is impossible for it to work.
As Christians we are also at an advantage because “…for with God nothing shall be impossible”
I met another person right beside this man and he gave me directives on how to go about getting the bus which the first person said was impossible.

Daniel looked beyond the physical and knew the God that knows no impossibility. Hence his confidence to solve problems

It should be always a solution to problem with Christians. If we seek Hod in all we do or face the answer will be provided by Hod who will never fail. Daniel sought God to have the solution to the Kings problem. Same with Joseph who said that he did not have an answer to Pharaoh’s trouble but God has the solution ( Gen 41:16)
