It is not enough to start a business or make an investment. It is important to monitor your business or investment. This involves keenly observing your investments to either make it more profitable or to minimize losses. This includes monitoring the processes, performance, progress and trends of the business.
Sadly, this is where many fail. They make massive investments but fail to monitor it, so they are caught off guard when the business begins to fail or when there are changes in the market that moves the business in a downward trajectory. This is why monitoring is important.
Through monitoring, you will discover the present steps you need to take about your investment, whether to cash in or to keep for a better time. The sale of one appreciating asset at the right time can quickly move you into a better economic level.
Therefore, you ought to learn how to monitor your sales revenue, cost of customer and product acquisition, customer retention and loyalty, productivity of staffs, and most importantly, the economy. One change in a nation’s economy can cause you to either move ten steps
backwards or forward if you are observant.

I once had an encounter with someone who started a business and left it in the hands of someone who didn’t take it seriously and that led to the close of it.
Never should anyone do an investment and give it an attitude of not monitoring it. My ability to make Profits today in my business is because I keenly follow it daily to ensure every new trend and change I quickly adjust. Monitoring is not overemphasised.
Beyond business, generally all Engagements we have put in an investment should be monitored as far as you put in something into that thing.
