2 Kings: 4. 42. And there came a man from Baal-shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. Prov 3:9 Honor the LORD with thy substance and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. The first fruit is an honor system that places God first. As the name implies, first fruit simply refers to the first fruit or produce from whatever you do. It refers to the first harvest or income of your job or business.
