EXPAND YOUR CAPACITY

Ecclesiastes 10:10
“If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.”

Becoming a person of success begins with the understanding that whatever level of result you have achieved, there is yet a higher level or place that you can attain. Therefore, adding value to yourself beyond the requirements of your present assignment, is key in increasing your relevance in your field of endeavour.

Just as our opening text emphasizes, capacity building should be a top priority in your daily work, because going about your assignment with the same old skill and knowledge that brought you to your present level may not take you further. To change your experience or to achieve greater results, there is the need to do something new or different.

Therefore, if you desire to become a person of great and continued relevance, you must be determined to add value to yourself daily, and never stop growing in your thinking capacity. Take a course, read books, research, and keep company with those who naturally inspire or add value to you. This way, you will be setting yourself up to maintain relevance, and to stand before kings and not mere men. Glory to God!
