Daniel 6:3 (KJV) – “Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”
Excellence is the spirit that brings men into dominion. Daniel was not elevated because he was favoured or because he was politically connected but because an excellent spirit dwelt in him – he brought excellence to everything he touched, he took responsibility seriously, pressing toward the highest standard in all that he did. This spirit of excellence is what causes those in authority to notice you, to trust you, and to elevate you to positions of greater responsibility.
When excellence becomes the spirit that characterizes your work, your relationships, and your stewardship, your dominion becomes indispensable. You become someone that others lean on, that others depend on, and that others trust with greater responsibility. Excellence is not about being perfect but about bringing your absolute best to everything you do, continuously improving, and refusing to compromise on quality or integrity.
Today, commit to excellence in all that you do. Bring excellence to your work, to your relationships, to your decisions, and to your stewardship. Do not do the minimum but push toward the highest standard. Let excellence become the mark by which people know you and the quality by which you are elevated into greater dominion.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that an excellent spirit is resting on you! Everything you touch is marked by excellence. You are being elevated into positions of greater responsibility and greater authority because the quality of your work and your character is undeniable. Excellence is the spirit of your dominion, in Jesus’ name!

Father, I thank You that excellence is the spirit of true dominion. I declare that I bring excellence to everything I do. I refuse to settle for mediocrity and I push toward the highest standard in my work, my relationships, and my stewardship. My commitment to excellence is positioning me for greater responsibility and greater dominion, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ghana, located on the west coast of Africa and home to approximately 35 million people, is one of the most stable and relatively prosperous nations on the African continent. Christians make up approximately 71% of the population, with a diverse mix of Pentecostal, evangelical, Catholic, and mainline Protestant churches. Ghana has a strong democratic tradition and a vibrant Christian witness, with many Ghanaian missionaries and church leaders serving across Africa and the world. The nation is also a significant prayer and intercession centre, with many prayer conferences and revival gatherings held throughout the year.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let an excellent spirit rest on Ghana and on all her endeavours. Let excellence become the mark by which this nation is known and let that excellence position Ghana for greater influence and responsibility in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let an excellent spirit characterize the leadership of Ghana. Let those who govern bring excellence to their decisions and their stewardship and let that excellence produce blessing for the entire nation in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let an excellent spirit rest on Israel and on all that she builds. Let the nation be known for excellence and let that excellence position her for greater favour and greater dominion in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let an excellent spirit characterize the Church in our cities. Let believers bring excellence to their service, their witness, and their building and let that excellence attract the lost to Christ in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let believers in our communities be marked by an excellent spirit in all they do. Let excellence be the quality by which the lost recognise the reality of God in our lives in Jesus’ name.
