Psalm 8:6 (KJV) – “Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet.”
God has given you dominion over the works of your hands, empowering everything you do to carry the mark of His blessing and purpose. Nothing you engage in is ordinary when placed under His authority, because His favour rests upon your effort and His wisdom guides your labour. What you build, create, and pursue is meant to reflect His excellence and produce lasting impact.
This means your work is not left to chance or human limitation. As you commit your plans and efforts to God, He breathes direction, strength, and increase into them. Even in areas that once seemed difficult, His grace enables productivity, creativity, and breakthrough through your hands. As you walk in obedience and diligence, everything you touch begins to align with His purpose and produce fruit that endures.
Today, take ownership of what God has placed in your hands. Commit to excellence in every area. And as you exercise dominion with intentionality and a heart aligned with God’s purposes, you will watch the works of your hands flourish because God blesses what is governed with wisdom, diligence, and faithfulness.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that you are exercising powerful dominion over the works of your hand! Everything you create, build, and bring forth is flourishing under your careful stewardship. Your sphere of influence is a place of life, health, and blessing because you are ruling it with wisdom and care, in Jesus’ name!

Father, I thank You for the dominion You have given me over the works of my hand. I declare that I take full responsibility for stewarding well everything under my care. I commit to diligence, to wisdom, and to the intentional exercise of dominion over my family, my work, my finances, and my creative output. Everything I touch is blessed and flourishing because I am governing it with care, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ethiopia
Ethiopia is one of the oldest nations in the world and one of the fastest-growing Christian populations on the African continent, with Christians comprising approximately 62% of the population, predominantly Ethiopian Orthodox in tradition, alongside a rapidly growing evangelical movement. The nation has a deep biblical heritage, being referenced in Scripture and home to one of the earliest Christian communities in the world. Ethiopia faces significant challenges including internal ethnic conflict, border disputes, a humanitarian crisis in some regions, and the pressure of Islamic expansion in the Horn of Africa. Yet the Church in Ethiopia is vibrant, prayerful, and growing, with a deep tradition of fasting and intercession.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the Church in Ethiopia exercise dominion over the works of her hands and see her ministries flourish. Let believers take responsibility for building healthy families, healthy churches, and healthy communities in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let the leaders of Ethiopia steward well the works of their hands and the domains under their authority. Let them govern with wisdom and care and let the nation flourish under their leadership in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let Israel exercise dominion over her land and her future. Let the nation steward her resources with wisdom and let the works of her hands be blessed and fruitful in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities exercise unified dominion over the works of our hands. Let our ministries, our outreach, and our community impact flourish as we steward them with care and wisdom in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, in the name of Jesus, let the light of Christ shine brightly through believers to guide many to salvation. Make Your Church a clear reflection of Your love and truth. Let their lives draw others out of darkness.
