Audio Version
2 Samuel 22:40-41 (KJV) – “For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.”
The enemy comes with strategies and intentions to intimidate, distract, and weaken you. He may attempt to rise against you with pressure and persistence, but you have been given divine authority that renders his power ineffective. The God who fights for you is infinitely greater than anything that opposes you, and your victory is already secured in Christ. As you remain rooted in God’s Word, your life becomes a consistent expression of victory over every opposing force.
This means your position is not one of fear, but of authority. You are not reacting to the enemy from a place of weakness; you are enforcing what Christ has already accomplished. Every scheme of darkness is subject to the higher authority of God working in you and through you. Stand firm with confidence, knowing that the outcome has already been settled in your favour. The enemy may resist, but he cannot prevail against the dominion you carry in Christ.
Today, step boldly into your authority. Refuse to negotiate with the enemy. And as you stand firm in the dominion Christ has given you with unwavering confidence, you will watch every scheme scatter because the One who lives in you is greater than anything that rises against you and empowers you to triumph in every battle.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that you have complete dominion over the power of the enemy in this season! Every scheme that the enemy has devised against you is being rendered powerless. Every stronghold is being broken and every accusation is being silenced. You are walking in victory and authority and the enemy has no power over you, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You for the authority and dominion You have given me over the power of the enemy. I declare that the enemy has no power over me and no authority in my life. I stand in the strength of Christ and I refuse to give the enemy any ground in my thoughts, my words, or my actions. I am victorious over every power that rises against me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Egypt
Egypt, located in northeastern Africa and home to over 105 million people, is one of the most historically significant nations on the African continent. Christians comprise approximately
10-15% of the population, with the Coptic Orthodox Church representing the vast majority of Egyptian Christians, alongside growing evangelical and Pentecostal communities. Egypt faces significant challenges including political instability, economic pressures, and widespread persecution of Christians, particularly Coptic believers who face discrimination and violence. Yet the Egyptian Church has a rich spiritual heritage and a powerful legacy of faithfulness stretching back nearly 2,000 years, maintaining hope and witness even in seasons of opposition.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the Church in Egypt walk in dominion over the powers of darkness that have sought to suppress her witness. Let believers exercise their authority in Christ and declare freedom and peace to this ancient land in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, expose the enemies of Egypt who work through deception and corruption. Let leaders who fear You be raised up to rule with justice and let the enemy’s strategies be scattered before them in Jesus’ name. [Pray in tongues for 1 minute]
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let Israel exercise dominion over the powers that seek her destruction. Let the nation stand firm in the authority You have given her and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and defeated in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities be unified in authority over the enemy’s schemes to divide us. Let believers stand together in dominion and let the enemy find no foothold among us in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, break the enemy’s hold over the minds of the lost in our communities. Let believers rise in dominion and declare the freedom that is available through Christ in Jesus’ name.
