“And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink”
One of the reasons many do not succeed in business is that they go into the wrong partnerships. They may have good ideas and a great strategy for implementation but they go into the wrong partnerships that sink the business financially.
When developing partnerships and relationships in business, it is of utmost importance to consider the financial integrity of your proposed partners. It is important to know their track record when it comes to money.
There are people who take money from individuals to invest, and when they get the money, they squander a major part of it. Some others are not good with success; a little success creates for them a massive opportunity to waste money.
Thus, you have to know how good your proposed partner is with money. He might have a good idea, great personality, great plan, but if his financial integrity is questionable, then you have to be careful.
Therefore, take time to carry out proper research about your proposed partners. Ask around where you can, but ensure you do your due diligence. You must learn to be strategic when it comes to partnerships.

1. Prayer for the nation: We are praying for the Christians in Montserrat, for strength to serve the Lord and be examples to the unsaved, even in these difficult times, in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Oh Lord, we pray for wisdom for the leadership of Montserrat, that they may rely on the you in all their decisions as the rebuild the nation, in the name of Jesus.

Hmmmm financial integrity. A key trait that cannot be overlooked. A partner(s) can either make your business a success or a complete failure so in choosing our partners we have to take due diligence. Like our opening scripture symbolises, the boat sank when the partners that were beckoned upon made the wrong choice, instead of the rescue they wanted, the got sunk.
I have learnt today that is not about gathering people to partner with, it is about the integrity of the people we want to partner with. There are people everywhere but people of integrity aren’t everywhere. They are found! Oh thank you Lord.🙌🏿

Really I had seen many persons that was from having/doing very well, in life, but later became very poor because the partnership their entered.

Really some persons have good records when it comes to great ideas, work ethics etc but have no financial integrity. I have personally experienced this….where I lend some money to a very high class personality, she promised to pay back immediately and then 2 days after she acted as though I was her enemy, I figured this was because she didn’t want me to ask her for the money 😁. To be successful means you have to be a being of financial integrity and surround yourself with partners who also have financial integrity because a leaven, leavens the whole lump.
