Hosea 12:3-4 (KJV): “He took his brother by the heel in the womb, and by his strength he had power with God: Yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed: he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him in Bethel, and there he spake with us.”
You were created with the capacity to overcome and the grace to prevail. Long before you faced your first challenge, God had already established His purpose and victory for your life. Every obstacle, setback, and season of difficulty is subject to His divine plan and cannot overturn what He has spoken concerning you. No disappointment from your past and no opposition in your present has the power to erase the destiny God ordained for you.
Understanding this truth transforms the way you respond to life’s challenges. You no longer view opposition as evidence of defeat but as a sign that you are advancing into greater purpose and responsibility. What once appeared to be a barrier becomes an opportunity for growth, strengthening, and transformation. Every challenge you face is not meant to stop you but to prepare and position you for the next level God has ordained for your life.
Today, embrace the confidence that comes from knowing God is at work in every circumstance of your life. The challenges before you are not random; they are opportunities through which God is shaping, strengthening, and preparing you for greater things. Let your heart be filled with expectation, for the story God is writing for you is one of growth, breakthrough, and victory.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that your destiny to prevail is being activated right now! Everything you were born to overcome is yielding to the power. You are prevailing because you were destined to, in Jesus’ name!

Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You because I was born to prevail. I declare that I step into the fullness of my God-ordained prevailing nature. Every challenge bows before Your power at work within me, and I advance with confidence, favour, and divine strength. I am destined to prevail, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Somalia
Somalia, located in the Horn of Africa, has a population of approximately 18 million people. It is one of the most homogenously Muslim nations on earth, with over 99% of its population identifying as Sunni Muslim. Christianity is effectively banned, and Somali believers face among the highest levels of persecution of any Christians on earth, including death for converts from Islam. Yet a small and deeply courageous underground church exists, and the Somali diaspora across the UK, USA, and Scandinavia has produced a growing community of Somali believers whose intercession and witness are beginning to reach back into the homeland.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, we decree a supernatural shift in Somalia’s spiritual atmosphere right now. Let the strongholds that have kept this nation closed to the Gospel for generations begin to crumble before the advance of Your Kingdom in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, we pray for every government official who has privately encountered the truth of the Gospel. Give them supernatural courage to protect believers, create spaces of religious tolerance, and use their positions for Kingdom advancement in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, confuse and dismantle every conspiracy against Israel before it can be executed. Let her enemies be divided against themselves and let Israel dwell securely under the shadow of Your hand in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, heal every wound of division and suspicion between churches in our cities. Let the spirit of genuine covenant love flow freely among believers regardless of background or denomination, and let us run together toward the harvest in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let the testimony of every believer who has been transformed by the Gospel become a fire that spreads through family networks. Let one courageous testimony open a door that leads dozens into the Kingdom in Jesus’ name.
