John 6:11-12 (NJKV)
“And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost. “
Management refers to the ability to properly utilize and maximize resources to achieve set goals without waste or incurring losses. A wise manager utilizes what is put in his care to ensure it is sufficient for its purpose, and that in the event of excess, there is no waste.
As we see in our opening text, The Lord Jesus was a master at management. After He fed the people, He refused to allow waste.
If you must succeed, you ought to learn from Him. Learn how to manage food, money, and people to ensure that there is no waste.
However, the management of people is the least often talked about, but it is very important for your success. For example, the productivity of the people who work with you is dependent on how well you can manage their competencies and weaknesses. This would enable you to position them strategically, where they are at their best, and, ultimately aid you in the achievement of your organizational goals.
Therefore, make up your mind to become a wise manager, one who properly utilizes the resources at his disposal.

Today I’ve learnt how important it is to manage all forms of resources..And I actually think managing people is a huge grace on its own because it can pose to be hard sometimes since most people want to be free to do whatever they feel like.

This topic is just so crucial for me today because i had a hands on experience of meeting a true manager in a salon just yesterday. I used to consume like 3 bundles of hair extensions but this lady made similar style, better looking hair with less extensions. I asked her how she did it and she said she doesn’t waste her customers resources. I was completely sold!

Over the years I got to realize that our parent didnโt decide that wastefulness is bad, it is scriptural. Most people believe it is common knowledge but we need to understand that it is far beyond that. Pls I need us to know that mismanagement of any kind draws us back. Proverbs 21:20 says โprecious treasures & oil are in a wise manโs dwelling, but a finish man devours itโ I will give an illustration to this. Imagine 2 tubers of yam is being shared among 2 poor men.
Man 1: cooks his yam and throws the head of his yam away without having any plan for the future and nothing else to eat
Man 2: Cooks his yam and plant the head of his yam
Now my question is, who will die of hunger and what is the cause of his death?.
