“Scriptural Text: Acts 6:8 (NKJV)
“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.”
All the struggles in Christianity today; sin, fear, sickness, failure, stagnation; whatever the name and however the state, are all because of the lack of fire. Being on fire is being filled, endued, and engulfed with the Spirit of God and hence possessing His qualities and abilities. This makes living a successful Christian life apart from this fire a near impossible task.
When a man despairs and feels like giving up, he has probably lost the fire. Also, a man that considers looking back or going back to his past has lost that fire. It is that fire of God burning within that provokes you to speak to the mountain instead of giving up and inspires you to speak to your situation and expect compliance. This was the case with Stephen who we see in our opening text today.
The Spirit of God causes faith to be imparted into our hearts so that we see no impossibility. Thus, no matter how many devils rise against us, being on fire gives us the edge and causes is to always conquer because faith would quench every dart of the enemy. This is why we see Stephen functioning in the miraculous.
Therefore, desire a fresh outpour of God’s Spirit in your life today. Let His Presence drive out every doubt and unbelief from your heart, as He fills you and imparts you with His qualities, so that you are as bold as a lion. Get on fire today and watch the enemy bow!

From today onwards I choose to be full of faith today.
My God. The struggles we face as Christians is because of lack of fire. As we grow, our fire had to grow too. Small fire cannot handle big level and it’s big challenges. The fire in you provokes you to speak to that mountain.
Thank you Lord

Yeah, I chose to consciously work by faith in everything that I do henceforth.
Our Prophet taught us some years ago that flies only perch on cold stoves. We are like stoves; we are designed for fire and not coldness!
Our struggles as Christian comes when we lack fire! With fire, we can stay full of faith; speaking to our situations to comply with God’s words.

A man full of faith sees no impossibility. How do you get to that point where you can boldly say you are full of faith? By staying on fire.
A man always on fire would always be full of faith hence defeating the devil with whatever strategy he comes with.

The best way to constantly defeat the devil is to embrace the Holyspirit and stay on fire. The language of faith is only accessible to men who first of all have the Holyspirit and are on fire.

Faith without fire leads to fear !

Faith and Grace work together and I believe this scripture Ephesians 2:8. The grace of God is sufficient for me, it empowers, puts power in me to do everything I want to.
The unmerited favour of God on us will drive out every doubt, fear and unbelief in our hearts and deposit in them His qualities. We will be on fire and speak boldly, face every Goliath in our lives
In the name of Jesus, I thank the Lord God. We, I and my household receive His grace and we are thankful for the grace that empowers us to live lives of faith that please God. We enjoy the lives He has given us and we choose to live it abundantly in His grace and in remembrance of His great gift to us.

Amen
