To serve in the house of God with murmurings, grumbling and dissatisfaction is to forfeit your reward. By complaining or habouring ulterior motives and greed, you may be disqualified from receiving the attendant blessings of service to God. This is why it is important to do all that you do in the house of God joyfully, cheerfully and with your whole heart.
Whenever God gives an assignment, He gives a crown as a reward for that assignment. However, God also reserves others for that assignment, such that if the original recipient of the assignment becomes careless or loses focus and derails from that assignment, someone else may take over.
As believers, we have the great privilege of having a personal relationship with God, and it is through this relationship that we receive guidance and direction for our lives.

Faith is the assurance that God hears us and that He answers those who call unto Him. Every time we pray, we demonstrate this trust.
In this world, we have been trained to always calculate everything; from our expenses to our income, from our marriage to child-bearing.
The Bible says that in every labour, there is profit (Prov. 14:23). This suggests that any effort that does not give you a return on energy expended is a waste, and whatever saps your energy is an enemy.
Just as we invest in our careers, education, and skills, we must also invest in our spiritual growth. The Word of God is a treasure of wisdom that can transform our lives.
