“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; “
Some persons think they are poor because they have no one to help them. They think all they need to be wealthy is help from someone, so they do not take initiative.
Thus, they put all their effort into getting help from others. And most times, when they get it, they are unable to sustain it because they lack the capacity to maintain it. This is because they have not developed themselves.
Persons with this mind-set never look within themselves because they think the solution is always without. This is a wrong mindset to have.
External help is not all you need to become wealthy. It is important to note that the rich only give to those who they are sure can manage and multiply it. So, you need to spend time developing yourself, increasing your capacity and researching on how to make your plans work.

I think the topics of the recent weeks are interconnected and highlight the significance of being disciplined as children of God.
As followers of Christ our eyes should be fixed on him who is the source of everything and our focus should be on seeking him and everything will be added unto us. When we develop ourselves through His spiritual wisdom and insight, we empower ourselves with the knowledge and other resources that we need to put ourselves in the right position. When we are in the right position, we are dignified so much so that pursuing the men for help becomes unacceptable and unnecessary. Seeking men for help rather than trusting God for our personal development to enhance our productivity, is setting ourselves up for disappointment.

Some people tends to put their hope on people, believing that once that person makes it they also have made it too. This is not bad but there’s no assurance that once the person make it they share their wealth too, it take the Grace of God to receive help. There’s no harm in demanding for help from wealthy people but like they say, charity begins at home, you ought to have planned yourself on what to start doing or already doing something that the wealthy person will see in you and then decide if they can assist you or not.
It pays to build your foundation by yourself without depending on anyone else to help you. The best foundation planner is GOD, HE alone can build you a strong foundation, so you start with what you have i.e your talent , skills or professional , from there you are good to go.
Lord I ask you for strength and wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the directions of my life journey to make wealth, Father Lord be my director and guide me through these journey with your Grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Amen.
