“Scriptural Text:
2 Timothy 1:7 (NJKV)
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.B”
Our opening text today clearly states one of the greatest assets you have received from God; is a sound mind.Thus, you have existent in you a sound mind that can tackle any challenge and can achieve anything. With a sound mind, you should not be limited, and neither should you fail.
Our opening text also identifies God as the source of this sound mind. If it comes from God, it can only be good and perfect. (James 1:17). And if He cannot be limited or has never failed, you should not.
Furthermore, the ancient Greek word here refers to a sound mind as a calm and controlled mind in contrast to panic and confusion, when one is in a fearful or unstable situation. So, regardless of what you face as you go about your business, you should never panic, fear or be in distress because your mind possesses the capacity to devise a solution or way of escape. This puts you at a point of advantage so that no matter how hard or fearful a situation may be, you can overcome and take charge.

Fear has robbed a lot of “would be” great leaders because they could not take charge of their fears. our opening scripture just puts it right by saying God has not given us the spirit of fear, timidity or cowardice but of power of love and of sound mind.
which means if God has not given me any of that, then someone else did which didn’t come from God and it is obviously from the devil. I refuse to accept any gift not from my Father and i take charge of my mind because God has given me a sound mind to lead and to overcome every challenge in my life, business etc. Glory to God.

Fear and panic have dealt me many a blow because I have not taken the necessary actions when faced with situations that had appeared uncontrollable.
