Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV) – “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.”
Dominion is not given to those who pursue it through their own strength or strategy but to those who walk in obedience to God’s voice and God’s commandments. This is the fundamental principle that unlocks the blessings and the authority of true dominion – obedience to God positions you for elevation above all that surrounds you. When you obey God, you are choosing to place yourself under His authority and therefore you receive His authority to rule and to reign.
Obedience positions you for dominion by keeping you aligned with God’s purposes and protecting you from the pitfalls of rebellion and self-reliance. Those who walk in obedience do not waste time and energy on strategies that do not align with God’s will, they move forward with confidence knowing that God is directing their steps and that their path has been ordained by the One who sees all and knows all. This obedience is the foundation upon which lasting dominion is built.
Today, recommit yourself to obedience to God’s voice and His commandments. Make the alignment of your will with God’s will your highest priority and watch as that obedience positions you for dominion and for elevation above all that surrounds you.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that your obedience is positioning you for dominion! As you walk in alignment with God’s will and His commandments, you are being set on high above all that surrounds you. Your obedience is the foundation of your dominion and your elevation, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You that dominion comes through obedience to Your voice and Your commandments. I declare that I am committed to walking in alignment with Your will. I choose obedience over my own understanding and I trust that my obedience is positioning me for dominion and elevation. I am setting my will under Your authority and therefore I receive Your authority to rule, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ghana
Ghana, located on the west coast of Africa and home to approximately 35 million people, is one of the most stable and relatively prosperous nations on the African continent. Christians make up approximately 71% of the population, with a diverse mix of Pentecostal, evangelical, Catholic, and mainline Protestant churches. Ghana has a strong democratic tradition and a vibrant Christian witness, with many Ghanaian missionaries and church leaders serving across Africa and the world. The nation is also a significant prayer and intercession centre, with many prayer conferences and revival gatherings held throughout the year.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the Church in Ghana lead the nation into obedience to Your voice. Let believers walk in alignment with Your will and let that obedience position Ghana for dominion and elevation among the nations in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let the leaders of Ghana walk in obedience to Your commandments and Your purposes. Let their obedience position the nation for favour, for blessing, and for dominion in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let Israel walk in obedience to You and let that obedience position the nation for the dominion and the blessing You have promised. Let the nation choose Your ways and receive Your elevation in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities be unified in obedience to Your voice. Let believers walk together in alignment with Your will and let that corporate obedience produce dominion and blessing in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let believers in our communities be so clearly elevated through their obedience that the lost desire to walk in Your ways. Let obedience become an attractive testimony to the reality of God in Jesus’ name.
