Matthew 18:3-4 (KJV) – “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
The pathway to true dominion is not found in the assertion of self, but in the surrender of self. When you humble yourself and become like a little child in your dependence on God and your openness to His direction, you position yourself to receive dominion. This may seem counterintuitive in a world that teaches that dominion comes through strength, cleverness, and the force of one’s own will. But God’s way is different – the greatest in His kingdom are those who humble themselves and refuse to rely on their own understanding or strength.
In this posture of humility, God begins to shape your character and align your desires with His will. What once felt like weakness becomes the very channel through which His power is revealed in your life. You begin to see that surrender is not loss, but the doorway to divine influence and authority. As you continue in this surrendered walk, your life becomes established in lasting dominion. God lifts you in due season, not by human striving but by His own hand.
Today, humble yourself before God and watch Him lift you higher than you can think or imagine. As you humble yourself, God will exalt you and position you in dominion that is real, secure, and marked by His favour. He will establish your steps and cause your life to reflect His glory in every sphere of influence.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that your humility is opening the door to dominion! As you humble yourself, God is exalting you. Your authority is being established not through your own effort but through God’s grace. You are becoming great in the kingdom through the pathway of humility, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You that humility is the pathway to true dominion. I declare that I humble myself before You and before those around me. I release my need to prove myself or to defend my position. I trust that as I humble myself, You will exalt me and establish me in dominion that is marked by Your grace and Your favour, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
