Audio Version
Romans 6:9 (KJV) – “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more. Death hath no more dominion over him.”
Death has no authority over you. Christ has conquered it completely, and because you are united with Him, you share in His victory. Death has been stripped of its power and can no longer dictate the terms of your life or your destiny. You now live under the reign of His indestructible life.
This truth anchors your faith beyond fear and gives you bold assurance in every season of life. Even in the face of uncertainty, you are not governed by the fear of death but by the life of Christ working within you. His resurrection power is the guarantee that death is not your end.
Today, meditate deeply on the truth that Christ’s resurrection life flows through you. Let this revelation strengthen your heart. And as you walk in this dominion with full awareness of what Christ has accomplished, you will find yourself living with a freedom and confidence that only resurrection power can produce.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that you are walking in complete dominion over death! Death has no power over you and no fear can control you because the One who conquered death lives in you. You are free from every fear that death produces and you are living with the fullness of life that Christ has secured for you, in Jesus’ name!
Section 2—Praying the Promises:
Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You that Christ has overcome death and that I am united with Him in His resurrection and His victory. I declare that death has no dominion over me because the resurrection power of Christ flows through me. I am free from every fear of death and I walk boldly in the fullness of life that Christ has secured for me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ethiopia
Ethiopia is one of the oldest nations in the world and one of the fastest-growing Christian populations on the African continent, with Christians comprising approximately 62% of the population, predominantly Ethiopian Orthodox in tradition, alongside a rapidly growing evangelical movement. The nation has a deep biblical heritage, being referenced in Scripture and home to one of the earliest Christian communities in the world. Ethiopia faces significant challenges including internal ethnic conflict, border disputes, a humanitarian crisis in some regions, and the pressure of Islamic expansion in the Horn of Africa. Yet the Church in Ethiopia is vibrant, prayerful, and growing, with a deep tradition of fasting and intercession.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the Church in Ethiopia stand with dominion over death and fear. Let the resurrection power of Christ be so evident in believers that the nation witnesses the freedom and the boldness that comes from dominion over death in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, let the leaders of Ethiopia be freed from the fear of death that has often motivated corrupt decisions. Let leaders who understand their dominion over death begin to govern with integrity rather than self-preservation in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let Israel stand with the dominion over death that belongs to the people of the resurrection. Let the nation move with boldness and faith knowing that the God of resurrection is her God in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, let the Church in our cities be unified in the dominion over death that all believers share. Let the fear of man and the fear of death be replaced by fear of God and love for Christ in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, in the name of Jesus, let every hardened heart be softened to receive the Word of salvation. Break every resistance built through pain, pride, or unbelief. Prepare their hearts to receive Your truth with joy.
