Genesis 26:12-13 (KJV): “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great.”
The blessing of God is a spiritual force that manifests in physical possession. It is a power that rests upon a man and causes the works of his hands to prosper, his endeavours to succeed, and his life to advance in supernatural. When the blessing of God is upon you, increase and advancement becomes your regular experience.
The blessing causes you to wax great and move forward. It settles on your business, your career, your finances, and your family, and produces a momentum of increase that keeps compounding until the greatness God has ordained for your life is fully visible. The man upon whom the blessing of God rests does not struggle to advance; he advances because the blessing makes a way where there was no way.
Today, walk in the full consciousness that the blessing of the LORD is upon your life. Sow in faith in every area where God is calling you to plant and expect a supernatural return. You are not subject to the limitations around you; you are subject to the blessing upon you, and that blessing will cause you to wax great.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that the blessing of the LORD is upon you and it is causing you to go forward and grow! You are waxing great in the year of famine because the blessing overrides every natural limitation. Keep sowing, keep growing, and keep prevailing by the blessing in Jesus’ name!

Start-Up Prayer:
Father, I thank You that Your blessing is upon my life. I declare that I walk in the blessing today, I sow in faith and receive a hundredfold return. I wax great, I go forward, and I grow until I become very great, not by my own effort but by the blessing of the LORD that is upon me. I am blessed and I prevail by that blessing, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nation Focus: Ethiopia
Ethiopia is one of the oldest nations in the world and one of the fastest-growing Christian populations on the African continent, with Christians comprising approximately 62% of the population, predominantly Ethiopian Orthodox in tradition, alongside a rapidly growing evangelical movement. The nation has a deep biblical heritage, being referenced in Scripture and home to one of the earliest Christian communities in the world. Ethiopia faces significant challenges including internal ethnic conflict, border disputes, a humanitarian crisis in some regions, and the pressure of Islamic expansion in the Horn of Africa. Yet the Church in Ethiopia is vibrant, prayerful, and growing, with a deep tradition of fasting and intercession.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the blessing of the LORD rest upon Ethiopia and cause it to go forward and grow in this season. Let the Church be the channel through which the blessing flows to the nation and let Ethiopia begin to experience a hundredfold return on the seeds of prayer and faithfulness that Your people have sown in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Leaders:
Father, bless the leaders of Ethiopia who govern with integrity and let that blessing make them great. Let the evidence of Your blessing on those who honour You create a hunger among leaders for the righteous path in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Israel:
Father, let the blessing You promised to Abraham rest upon Israel in this generation. Let Israel wax great and go forward in every area of national life and let the hundredfold blessing of the covenant be visible for all the nations to see in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Unity in the Church:
Father, bless the Church in our cities with the kind of unity that causes us to go forward together. Let the blessing on a united Body of Christ produce a corporate greatness that none of us could achieve individually and let that greatness be used entirely for Your Kingdom purposes in Jesus’ name.
Prayer for Souls/Revival:
Father, let the blessing that is visible on the lives of believers in our communities become the seed of evangelism. Let the evident favour, the evident peace, and the evident provision on the lives of those who walk with You cause the lost to hunger for the same blessing, and let many come to salvation in Jesus’ name.
