Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV)-“Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”

Our opening scripture captures God’s charge to Joshua as he prepares to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land; a task filled with uncertainty and challenges. God reassures Joshua that bold steps require courage, and courage is strengthened by His abiding presence.

Taking bold steps often means stepping into the unknown or facing daunting obstacles. Like Joshua, we are not left to face these challenges alone. God’s promise to be with us wherever we go gives us the confidence to overcome fear. When we are willing to act in faith, even when the odds seem stacked against us, God moves powerfully on our behalf and turns every bold step of obedience into a testament of His faithfulness. Glory to God!

If God is calling you to take a bold step today, whether in your career, ministry, relationships, or other areas, do not hold back, ask for His strength and guidance, then move forward with courage. Trust that as you take that step, God has already prepared the ground ahead for you. hallelujah!

START-UP PRAYER:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I bind every spirit of fear in my life, I decree that I’m bold and full of courage because I know You are always with me, let everything I do reflect my confidence in Your ever abiding presence in me in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
CAPE VERDE
Catholicism had a privileged position until Cape Verde’s independence, and while nearly 90% of nationals still identify themselves as Catholic, the church is synchronized with superstitions and African fetishism. Cape Verdeans have also had a longstanding Nazarene presence, and Pentecostals have seen increases in numbers, nearly 6% annually. Local leaders are needed to rise up and disciple others as geographical isolation and a unique dialect have prevented spiritual growth amongst many national believers.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the believers in this land will have personal encounters of Jesus, that their conviction of Your supreme power will become strong and firm in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that laws abolishing the practice of idol worship and fetishism will be enacted by the leaders of this nation, that You may reign over all in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, we pray that in this time of war, the people will not lack care and supplies in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we decree a deployment of angels to guard the gates of the church, that there be no infiltration of our camp with demonic spirits to cause the church to stray from the path in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your fresh fire to fill the hearts of evangelists and missionaries all around the world, that the preaching of the Gospel may spread abroad leading to a mass harvest of souls in Jesus name.
