Psalm 95:2 (KJV) – Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
Thanksgiving draws the believer into deeper communion with God. His presence is not encountered by accident—it is approached with intention, honour, and a grateful heart. Our scriptural text today reminds us that thanksgiving becomes the invitation that ushers us into divine nearness.
A grateful heart acknowledges God’s goodness and majesty, creating room for His presence to rest tangibly upon your life. Gratitude sharpens your spiritual sensitivity, prepares your heart for divine endorsement, and opens the door to supernatural encounters.
Today, as you come before God, let thanksgiving lead the way. Offer gratitude before requests, speak thanks before petitions, and allow honour to rise from your spirit. As you do, you will experience His presence in deeper ways, and His Spirit will respond with revelation, favour, and supernatural guidance.
What a powerful time in God’s Word today! As you go forth, hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that as you thank God daily, His presence will saturate your life and His endorsement will rest upon you.

SECTION 2: PRAYING THE PROMISES
Welcome to today’s Praying the Promises. If you have not read today’s devotional, scroll upwards to read it first. Let us now pray in line with today’s word.
Start-Up Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, let gratitude draw me into Your presence. Make my heart sensitive to Your voice and Your leading.
Nation Focus: Laos
Laos is one of the most tightly restricted nations for Christianity in Southeast Asia. The government watches churches closely, believing Christianity disrupts cultural unity. Christians face arrest for evangelism, interrogation by authorities, confiscation of Bibles, pressure to renounce their faith, expulsion from villages among others. Yet the church continues to grow boldly through small house fellowships. These believers desperately need global intercession.
Prayer for a Nation – Laos
Father, in the name of Jesus, provide for the believers in Laos in every need, spiritually, physically, and materially. Encourage their hearts with Your Word and strengthen their faith daily. Let hope rise in every household of the underground church.
Prayer for Leaders
Father, fill leaders with the wisdom that comes from above and guide them to govern with justice and righteousness.
Prayer for Israel
Father, in the name of Jesus, let Your peace and protection blanket Israel. Strengthen her leaders and protect her citizens from all harm.
Prayer for Unity in the Church
Father, in the name of Jesus, unite Your Church across nations. Remove pride, strife, and divisions, and empower us to serve in love and humility.
Prayer for Souls / Revival
Father, in the name of Jesus, awaken nations with Your saving power. Draw the lost, renew the hearts of believers, and release a mighty harvest.
