Philippians 2:9-10 (KJV): “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”
There is no name in all creation that carries greater authority than the name of Jesus. Every knee in heaven, on earth, and under the earth must bow before that name, including every sickness, financial limitation, demonic attack, and challenge you may be facing. Nothing has the power to resist the authority invested in the name of Jesus. Through your relationship with Christ, you have been given the right and privilege to use that name.
When you stand in the name of Jesus, you are not standing in your own reputation or your own track record. You are standing in the fullness of everything that Jesus is, everything He accomplished, and everything He has been given dominion over, and that means every force that is opposing you is already beneath your feet. The name carries the weight of His resurrection, His ascension, and His eternal victory, and there is nothing in existence that can resist it.
Today, subdue every situation that has been refusing to align with God’s will by speaking the name of Jesus boldly. Begin to name the specific mountains in front of you and command them to bow. The name of Jesus is as mighty today as it was on the morning of the resurrection, and it will prevail in your situation right now.

Nation Focus: South Sudan
South Sudan, the world’s youngest nation having gained independence in 2011, has a population of approximately 11 million people. Christians make up roughly 60% of the population, with traditional African religions comprising much of the remainder. Despite its Christian majority, the nation has been torn by devastating civil conflict, ethnic violence, extreme poverty, and a humanitarian crisis that has displaced millions. The Church in South Sudan carries enormous potential as a force for peace, reconciliation, and national rebuilding, making it one of the most strategic and needy mission fields on the continent.
Prayer for a Nation:
Father, let the name of Jesus be proclaimed across South Sudan with boldness and with power. Let every ethnic and tribal spirit that has divided this nation bow before the name that is above every name and let believers from every background unite under the lordship of Christ in Jesus’ name.

Father, let the name of Jesus go before every believer in our region as a prevailing force this week. Let the name open conversations, produce miracles, and draw the lost with irresistible power. Let souls be saved in Jesus name.
