Listen to Praying the Promises
Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV– “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”
Hesitation and delay can prevent you from seizing opportunities and fulfilling God’s purpose. Life is filled with fleeting moments that, if missed, may never return. Being slow to act can lead to regret and the loss of divine timing.
To be swift means to act promptly and with determination, responding to God’s leading without hesitation. Each time you pause or delay in taking that necessary step, you miss an opportunity that could have given you a breakthrough. Hesitation often reflects a lack of trust in your ability to execute what God has placed before you, thereby giving others a chance to rise where you could have excelled. When you move in sync with God’s timing, He opens doors that no one can shut. Being swift reveals your faith in God and your readiness to fulfill His desires for your life in a timely manner.
Today, commit to responding quickly to God’s direction and the needs around you. Ask Him for the discernment to know when to act and the courage to follow through with speed and diligence.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
Burundi
Ninety-four percent of Burundians identify themselves as Christian, but syncretism and false teachings have subverted the truth of the Gospel. Realizing that shallow Christianity cannot meet the challenges of life, Burundians have been purging their churches of false practices and have seen sustained evangelical growth. But ethnic strife has forced most Bible schools to close and has left the nation with few trained leaders and pastors.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that you strengthen the churches in Burundi, that Pastors who are grounded in the Truth will arise to teach them sound doctrine and disciple them in a manner that pleases You in Jesus Name.
