And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Generally, people consider setbacks as negative, whereas the Bible declares that all things work together for our good as believers. Take note that this scripture does not say all things are good, rather it says “all things work together for good”. In other words, no matter how bad or negative a situation may appear, the end result is always for your good.
There is often an unseen advantage to setbacks. A setback can set you up in such a way that you will go up and never go down. God is not the source of setbacks, but God can use setbacks to bring you into a place where you will be promoted and comforted.
Is there any area in your life that you have experienced or are experiencing a setback? You do not need to live in regret or wallow in self-pity; rather it is time for you to put up some praise and thanksgiving and you would see God turn the situation in your favour. Glory to God!
