YIELD TO THE POTTER

Your life is in the hands of the one who never fails. Everything He does is for your good and as you yield to Him, He will ensure nothing in your life falls short of His Glory.

Audio Version

  • Isaiah 64:8 –“But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”

There is something deeply reassuring about knowing that our lives are in the hands of a loving, intentional Father. Like clay in the hands of a skilled potter, we are molded by God for His purpose. He sees what we cannot. He knows what He is preparing us for. He is not just forming us; He is making something beautiful, useful, and eternal out of us.

Surrendering to Him means trusting in His plans and purposes without any iota of doubt. It means saying like Jesus, “Not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42). There may be seasons where we feel pressed, stretched, or even broken—but in God’s hands, we are guaranteed to overcome and emerge stronger. Your life is in the hands of the one who never fails. Everything He does is for your good and as you yield to Him, He will ensure nothing in your life falls short of His Glory. Hallelujah!

So today, trust the hands that formed you. Trust the one who sees the masterpiece you are becoming, even when you do not. Surrender to Him today and watch how He makes something glorious out of all that pertains to you. Hallelujah!

    PRAYER FOR A NATION
    CYPRUS

Cyprus has struggled to achieve stability since gaining independence from Britain in 1960. A 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of the north has divided the island, creating 230,000 refugees. The island remains divided, with the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus having separate governments. Negotiations for reunification have been ongoing since 2008, but progress is slow. Cyprus is struggling with severe economic challenges, with heavy exposure to bad foreign debt and a declining tourism industry. The country also struggles with negative prejudices against Evangelical and Protestant churches.

    PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that there will be economic stability, security, and peace in Cyprus.

    PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for the removal of ungodly influences from the leadership in this nation. Let them be surrounded by wise and godly counsellors.
