Isaiah 40:31- “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
In today’s fast-paced world, waiting can feel counterproductive, especially when you are eager to move forward. However, divine acceleration will always be preceded by a season of waiting on God. This waiting is not passive but an active trust in His timing and processes. Rushing ahead of God’s plan can lead to delays, frustrations, and setbacks, but those who wait on the Lord are strengthened and prepared for what lies ahead.
Waiting on God allows you to align with His will and receive clarity for the next steps. It is in these moments of trust and surrender that God equips you with the strength, wisdom, and resources needed for acceleration. Like an eagle that soars higher with minimal effort, waiting on God positions you to achieve more with divine empowerment than you ever could in your own strength.
Today, choose to wait on God, even when it feels uncomfortable or uncertain. Spend time in prayer and His Word, trusting that His timing is perfect. As you wait, He will renew your strength, direct your path, and accelerate your progress in ways that surpass human effort.

START-UP PRAYER
Lord, teach me to wait on You with patience and trust. Renew my strength and align my steps with Your perfect timing for my life.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CAMEROON
Like many African nations, Cameroon is divided into an Islamic north and Christian/animist south. The nation is a secular state that guarantees religious freedom, but tension continues to exist between the north and the south. Cameroon has one of the highest corruption rates in the world, but a few significant leaders that have converted to Christianity are slowly changing this.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we ask for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God for all believers. That their eyes would be flooded with revelation. That they will know the hope of which they have been called and the power that raised Jesus from the dead in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, as believers we lay at the root of this government, an ax and cut off and dismantle every corrupt practice lingering amongst the leaders and we ask that you will cause the leaders to recognize their need for you as the ruler of all the earth in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, we pray that the secular Jews in this land will be reminded that You have not forsaken them in spite of the war, but that You are faithful and will keep Your covenant to them in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for grace to prioritize discipleship and to actively participate in the study of God’s Word, personally and corporately in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the devil’s power over every unsaved soul will be broken so that they can realize that the systems of the world only end in the world in Jesus Name.
