Begin today by being thankful to the Lord for keeping you and your household from the destructive reach of the devil.

We must realize that every act of kindness shown towards the less-privileged is a loan given to God (Prov. 19:17). Your gifts and assistance to them is recorded by God.

When we give thanks or show appreciation, we do not focus on ourselves, but on the person to whom we express gratitude. God’s pleasure, not your convenience should determine how you thank Him.

The conventional way of expressing gratitude is saying ‘Thank You’. Though conventional, this is not a sufficient display of gratitude, because gratitude goes beyond what is said.

In true gratitude, there is an element of forgiveness. We cannot claim to be truly grateful to God without expressing the same character that He expressed to us towards others.
