STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH

Audio Version

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) – Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

As you advance in your career, expand in business, or experience new phases of life, the temptation is often to shift your focus away from the things of God, taking less time to pray, serve, fellowship, or to begin to excuse yourself from the responsibilities you once embraced with joy. This can be a subtle shift, but it’s one that can have significant consequences for your spiritual life and your impact for the kingdom.

But our opening scripture reminds us to remain steadfast and unmovable, continually excelling in the work of the Lord. This means that no matter how life changes, your devotion to God and His kingdom must remain constant. Whether you’re facing new challenges or new opportunities, your commitment to serving the Lord should remain unwavering, remembering that your relationship with God is the foundation upon which all other aspects of your life are built.

Success is never an excuse to withdraw from service; instead, it should empower you to do more for Him.  Therefore, discipline yourself and resist the pull of competing priorities. Keep showing up, keep serving, keep giving, and keep labouring in love. Don’t let distractions or discouragements hold you back from serving the Lord. Stay focused, stay committed, and God will honour your commitment. Hallellujah!

What an extraordinary time in God’s Word today! As you go forth, take this prophetic declaration from our man of God, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth with you:

“I decree over you, no storm will shake your faith, and you will remain unmovable in Christ.”

Let us now pray in line with today’s devotional.

Start-up Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus, give us grace to remain disciplined, steadfast and unmovable, continually excelling in the work of the Lord.

Nation Focus:  India
India, the world’s most populous nation, is a tapestry of cultures, languages, and religions, with Hinduism as the dominant faith. While the Church is growing, believers often face persecution, poverty, and societal opposition. Spiritual darkness grips many regions, with millions yet to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yet, God is raising bold witnesses and opening unprecedented doors for the Gospel. India needs a move of God that breaks the power of idolatry, strengthens the persecuted Church, and brings the light of Christ to every village and city.

Prayer for the Nation

Heavenly Father, pour out revival in India, break the grip of idolatry and raise bold witnesses for Your gospel in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders
Oh Lord our God, raise leaders in India who will honour You, protect the vulnerable, and uphold justice in Jesus mighty name.

Prayer for Israel

Father, in the name of Jesus, we declare Israel shall rise fearless, walking in Your righteousness and strengths in Jesus name

Prayer for Unity in the Church
O Lord our God, we come against every spirit of disunity and confusion in our churches in Jesus name.

Father, let every soul that has been held bound by the enemy be set loose now! In Jesus name.
