The words we speak have the power to shape our lives and influence those around us. Proverbs 15:4 reveals that a wholesome tongue brings life, while perverse speech damages the spirit. This means that the way we communicate can either build or destroy. Many challenges in life arise from negative speech, which is why God calls us to be intentional with our words.
Speaking rightly is a key strategy for success. Whether in your career, business, relationships, or daily interactions, your words determine outcomes. Jesus understood this principle and always spoke with purpose and wisdom. When He taught, people marvelled at the grace that flowed from His lips (Luke 4:22). Likewise, we are called to align our words with God’s truth, using them to bring healing, encouragement, and direction (Colossians 4:6).
Today, choose to speak life. Think before you speak, ensuring that your words are clear, respectful, and uplifting. Listen actively and communicate with wisdom and grace. As you cultivate a wholesome tongue, you will see positive transformation in every area of your life. Hallelujah!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for Your word, I ask for the grace to communicate effectively that my words may bless the hearers and bring me favour everywhere I go, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CONGO
The majority of Congolese identify as Christian, but most do not authentically claim Christ as the only means of salvation. Many hold a superficial belief in basic Christian ideas combined with animistic rituals and idols. The Marxist government (1968-1991) expelled most mission organizations and reared a generation of children disconnected from any form of spiritual life. False beliefs and practices are rampant within the Church. There is great need for Bible-believing pastors to disciple their congregation.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for a revival to surge through the land, that many may come to the knowledge of Christ in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you raise selfless and just leaders who will govern this nation into a new era of peace and prosperity, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, let Your hand of protection rest over Israel. Frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm Your people, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the churches across the nations of the earth will walk in righteousness and truth, in Jesus’ name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost souls around the world, that their faith in You will be restored, in Jesus’ name.
