The call to serve is not just an obligation, it is an invitation to represent Christ in everything we do. Whether you are working in an office, leading a team, teaching children, or encouraging someone, your service becomes sacred when it is done with the right heart. Our opening scripture reminds us that when we serve with passion, we are not merely meeting needs; we are honouring God who sees, records, and rewards every act of service done for His glory.
Serving wholeheartedly is more than just getting the task done—it is doing it joyfully, faithfully, and without seeking the applause of men. It is maintaining excellence in the hidden moments, knowing that the One who matters most is always watching. When we shift our focus from human approval to divine purpose, even the smallest responsibilities become opportunities to honour God.
Whatever season you are in—whether on a big stage or behind the scenes, choose to serve in sincerity of heart. Do not underestimate your current assignment; serve faithfully where you are, and God will lift you in due time. Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the privilege to serve. Help me to serve with joy, excellence, and sincerity, that I may honour You in everything I do.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CYPRUS
Cyprus has struggled to achieve stability since gaining independence from Britain in 1960. A 1974 Turkish invasion and occupation of the north has divided the island, creating 230,000 refugees. The island remains divided, with the Republic of Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus having separate governments. Negotiations for reunification have been ongoing since 2008, but progress is slow. Cyprus is struggling with severe economic challenges, with heavy exposure to bad foreign debt and a declining tourism industry. The country also struggles with negative prejudices against Evangelical and Protestant churches.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You revive the economy of Cyprus, that financial stability may be restored in the nation.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for a willingness in the hearts of the leaders to support the work of churches thereby strengthening the influence of the church in Cyprus.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You Reveal the Messiah to rabbis, scholars, and seekers in Israel, that they may worship You in spirit and in truth.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come against the spirit of false doctrine and heresies in the Church. We decree that the Truth will prevail Churches all over the world.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit across the nations that souls may be saved.
