Ecclesiastes 9:10 (KJV) – Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Every new day is a gift from God. With it comes fresh opportunities, but those opportunities are not endless. If you waste the day, it cannot be recovered. That is why our opening text urges us to give our best effort to whatever we do.
Opportunity disguises because it never wants to fall into the hands of lazy people. It moves towards positive people unveils before daring people multiplies for those who celebrate it, quickly becomes a mountain for the poor, frowns at fearful people, sings for the hoping, buries the fool and looks for investors. The diligent man learns to recognize opportunities and act quickly before it is too late.
However, this does not mean rushing into everything blindly. It means being intentional—researching, asking questions, seeking counsel, and most importantly, praying because prayer sharpens your discernment so that you do not just see opportunities, but you also know which ones carry God’s breath on them.
Therefore, do not let procrastination, fear, or complacency steal your moments. Each day carries the potential for growth, impact, and reward. So, step out and be led by the Spirit. Keep your eyes open, and when your hand finds a good work to do, do it with all your might and without doubt you will come back with testimonies of increase and overflowing fruitfulness. I see the Lord helping you. Say amen!
