SCRIPTURAL TEXT: ROMANS 10:9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved*

The greatest encounter any human can have is the encounter of salvation.
This still remains a mystery how by believing in your heart and a short
confession, one can be made righteous just like Jesus, who has never
sinned.
When a man is born again, his spirit is born anew. The old man of sin is done away with and he has a new
opportunity to re-write his story. Many new converts often recall a refreshing experience after having an
encounter through salvation. You may hear them say “I feel joyful or I felt a weight come off my shoulders as
I prayed, etc,. As simple as this may seem, the wise cannot comprehend it. This is why, the scripture tells us
that God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. This experience of salvation is for
everyone because, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
Take out time today, to lead a soul to encounter Jesus through salvation. It is our duty as believers to ensure
that no one is left out. This encounter is one that we can initiate for others as we reach out to them with the
love of God. Glory to God.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I pray that all who do not know you will
encounter you today in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LEBANON
Background: Over 29% are unreached with the Gospel in Lebanon. Conversion to Christ, although legal, is nonetheless very
costly. Despite this, the number of those coming to Jesus is significantly increasing but the Shi’a Muslims are the fastest growing
population and increasingly influential.
We are praying against every hold of Islam penetrating the land, we lose everyone under its hold in Jesus name.
We pray against wrong advisors to the President, may all their demonic-inspired counsel be exposed and destroyed
in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Lord, give our leaders humility and respect for one another.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that the Lord will visit the church with the spirit of unity
and oneness like He did in the early church in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we cry for a release of your mercy upon every unsaved soul in this city and its
environs, that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
