Psalm 119:117 – “Hold me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually.”

Life often presents us with issues and situations that make us feel vulnerable. At such times, fear tries to creep in, making it seem as though we are without protection. However, as a child of God, you are never alone or without security. Our opening scripture reminds us that true safety is found in the Lord. With His presence in your life, you are safe; safe from harm, safe from sickness, and safe from the enemy’s schemes.

God’s protection is all encompassing, He does not allow any part of your life to be open to attack. He shields you with His mighty hand, ensuring that no you do not become a prey to the enemy. This does not mean challenges will not arise, but it does mean that in every situation, God is your refuge. When you trust in Him and walk in obedience to His Word, He surrounds you with His presence and gives you peace, even in the midst of the storm.

As you step out today, rest in the assurance that you are safe in God’s arms. Do not allow fear or anxiety to dictate your actions. Instead, trust in His promise to keep you and everything connected to you secure. His faithfulness never fails, He will uphold you now and always (Psalm 91:1-2, Isaiah 41:10).

PRAYER FOR A NATION

COLUMBIA
Roman Catholicism has long been a part of Colombian culture, and more than ninety percent of Colombians identify themselves as Catholic, though far fewer are practicing. Since the 1991 constitution, other denominations have been given religious freedom, and the evangelical church has grown significantly. The extremist paramilitary groups view this growth as a threat, and many have reacted with violence against the evangelical leadership.
