Hebrews 12:1- “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”

Acceleration often stirs a desire to reach the finish line quickly, but progress in the spirit requires quite the opposite- patience. The race God has set before you is not a sprint but a marathon, requiring endurance and focus. Impatience can lead to burnout, mistakes, or detours, but patience helps you maintain steady progress, trusting God to guide you step by step. To run with patience is to persevere despite challenges, keeping your eyes on the goal and relying on God’s strength.

Patience does not mean passivity; it involves active faith and obedience while trusting God’s timing. In every season, God uses patience to build character, strengthen your faith, and prepare you for greater victories. When you run with patience, you avoid comparing your journey to others and stay focused on the unique path God has designed for you. This mindset invites divine acceleration, as God’s timing always aligns with His perfect plan for your life.

Lay aside distractions and seek God’s grace to run your race with patience. Trust that He sees the bigger picture and will ensure that every step aligns with His purpose. As you persevere, He will quicken your steps at the right time, propelling you toward His promises.

START-UP PRAYER
Lord, teach me to run my race with patience, trusting in Your timing and purpose. Help me to persevere through challenges and keep my focus on You in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION
CAMEROON

Like many African nations, Cameroon is divided into an Islamic north and Christian/animist south. The nation is a secular state that guarantees religious freedom, but tension continues to exist between the north and the south. Cameroon has one of the highest corruption rates in the world, but a few significant leaders that have converted to Christianity are slowly changing this.

PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we pray for unity among the believers in this land, so their lives may draw non-believers to Christ in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, we commit the Parliament and lawmakers of Cameroon into Your hands. Grant them wisdom as they draft and enact laws that will govern the nation in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, we pray that the Muslim Arabs will be delivered from the snare of Islam, and have a revelation of Jesus as the Son of God and risen Savior in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we ask that you synchronize the heart of every believer and unify our spirits to receive and submit to Your vision for us in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus we stand against the spirit of the power of the air, that is at work in the soul of the unsaved and we declare that the blood of Jesus is against you in Jesus Name.
