RESTING ON THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS

When Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” He was not merely announcing the end of His suffering; He was declaring the completion of the transaction for your peace, health, and prosperity. By resting on what Jesus has already accomplished, you activate an atmosphere of grace where things fall into place—not through effort, but because the debt of striving has been cancelled.

Audio Version

John 19:30 (KJV) “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”

In the legal framework of the New Covenant, your victory is not a future goal but a finished reality. This is what we call the Finished Work of Jesus. When Jesus cried out, “It is finished,” He was not merely announcing the end of His suffering; He was declaring the completion of the transaction for your peace, health, and prosperity. To rest in this work is to move from a life of striving to attain into a life of learning how to maintain what has already been secured.

When you understand that the price has been fully paid, you stop struggling for acceptance and begin operating from a position of authority. By resting on what Jesus has already accomplished, you activate an atmosphere of grace where things fall into place—not through effort, but because the debt of striving has been cancelled. In a posture of rest, your heart becomes receptive to divine inspiration and direction.

As you intentionally enter His rest today, expect every area of “unfinished business” in your life to receive a supernatural conclusion. Watch as the grace of God completes what human strength could never begin. In this place of rest, you will see God bring clarity, closure, and completion in ways that exceed your expectations.

Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:

I declare that you have entered into the rest of God! I decree that every area of your life where you have been struggling is now covered by the Finished Work of Jesus. Receive the manifestation of everything Jesus paid for—healing, wealth, and total peace, in Jesus’ name!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the Finished Work. I declare today that it is finished! I refuse to carry the burden of worry or the weight of self-effort. I decree that because Jesus paid it all, I am free to succeed, free to be healthy, and free to prosper. I rest in Your grace today and I expect my results to reflect the completeness of Your sacrifice. I walk in total victory today, in Jesus’ name.

Nation Focus: Philippines

The Philippines, with a population exceeding 117 million, is an archipelago nation with a deep history of faith, yet it faces persistent challenges in economic disparity, political dynasticism, and internal security. While the nation stands as one of the few predominantly Christian countries in Asia, the Body of Christ must navigate the complexities of widespread poverty and the ongoing threat of radicalism in certain regions. Furthermore, the nation is frequently on the front lines of natural disasters, which often displace the most vulnerable and strain the country’s infrastructure. Despite these hurdles, there is a resilient spirit and a growing evangelical movement that is increasingly active in social transformation and global missions.
