2 Corinthians 4:16 (KJV) – “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.”
Serving God is amazing, but it often comes with seasons of strain. There are moments when the weight of responsibility feels heavy, when your strength seems to run low, or when your sacrifices appear unnoticed. The demands of ministry, the battles of faith, and the hidden tears of service can sometimes make the heart grow weary and even test the resolve of your heart. Yet in those very moments, something sacred is happening within you — grace is at work.
Though the outward man may feel weary or stretched, the inward man is being renewed with divine strength, courage, and peace. This is the mystery of grace, it sustains you when your strength fails, and it reminds you that your labour in the Lord is never in vain. Every act of obedience, every word spoken in faith, every step taken for the sake of the gospel carries eternal value. Heaven takes note, even when the earth does not applaud.
So, do not measure your life by what you see or feel. The challenges you face today are light compared to the glory they are producing within you. Keep your eyes on the unseen treasures of God’s kingdom that never fade: the lives you are influencing through your service; the seeds of faith you are planting when you faithfully share the gospel, the character being shaped in you as patience, humility, and endurance grow through trials; and the joy, peace, and hope quietly maturing in your heart even amid difficulty. These treasures are stored in heaven, yet they shape your life here, keeping you resilient and purposeful.
As you walk in this truth, hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
“I declare that God’s grace is renewing your heart and spirit today, empowering you to serve with strength, courage, and joy, in Jesus’ name!”
