- Psalm 119:59–“I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.”
Many believers desire great results but struggle to develop the habits that lead to them. Psalm 119:59 shows us the power of self-examination and intentional change. The psalmist reflected on his ways and made a conscious decision to align his actions with God’s Word. Likewise, if we desire growth, we must learn to reflect on our actions and deliberately cultivate habits that reflect God’s principles.
The reason many persist in error is because they lack the humility required to carry out self-examination. When you take time to reflect on your actions daily by the help of the Holy spirit, He will open your eyes to areas where you made mistakes, what to improve on and how you can make changes. This is the key to true change and progress.
Therefore, take time to evaluate your actions daily. In your quiet time, think about your transactions and interactions with others. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to what changes to make. If you do this daily, you will find yourself growing from one level to another. Halleluyah!
