Romans 8:37 (KJV) – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
Life will present battles, some expected, others unforeseen. But for the believer in Christ, defeat is not an option. You are not merely a fighter trying to survive; you are already declared victorious. Our opening text today does not call you a conqueror—it says you are more than a conqueror.
What does that mean? A conqueror fights hard and wins. But to be more than a conqueror means that before the battle even begins, your victory is guaranteed in Christ. You fight from a place of confidence, knowing the outcome is settled. In other words, before the battle even commences, your triumph is assured, guaranteed, and predestined in Christ. You engage in spiritual warfare from a position of unshakeable confidence, unwavering faith, and unrelenting certainty, knowing the outcome is already settled in your favour.
Therefore, choose to stand strong today. Walk through every challenge you encounter with the assurance that you carry Christ’s authority, and no weapon formed against you can prevail. Walk confidently as one who has already overcome by the power of Jesus Christ. The devil is defeated! Hallelujah!
