Audio Version
1 John 4:20–21 (KJV) – If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, that he who loveth God love his brother also.
Love for God is proven by the love we show to others. The apostle John is direct: profession without practice is hypocrisy. To manifest the love of God is to let His compassion, patience, and mercy be evident in our daily relationships. When we love the visible brother, we demonstrate that we truly know the invisible Father.
Love’s authenticity is tested in ordinary moments — in how we forgive, how we listen, and how we respond to offence. The love God commands is active; it crosses barriers, heals hurts, and brings reconciliation. It is not sentimental but supernatural, enabled by the Spirit to reflect Christ’s heart toward humanity.
Today, examine the relationships around you. Where there is coldness, be the warmth; where there is bitterness, be the balm. Let your acts of kindness speak for you. As you intentionally love the people God places in your path, His presence will be revealed and His name glorified.
What a powerful time in God’s Word today! As you go forth, hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that the love of God rises in you now. You will love those around you with Christlike compassion; barriers will fall, relationships will be restored, and many will encounter Jesus through your life.

Start-Up Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, deepen Your love within me. Break every root of hatred, pride, and indifference. Fill me with compassion, gentleness, and a forgiving spirit so that my life manifests Your love to all I meet.
Nation Focus: Kuwait
Christianity in Kuwait forms a small minority within a predominantly Muslim society. As of 2024, Christians make up about 10–12% of the population, mostly foreign workers from the Philippines, India, and Africa, with only a few hundred Kuwaiti nationals identifying as Christian. Evangelism is prohibited, often leading converts to practice their faith privately. Christians face ongoing challenges including limited worship spaces, and social pressures against public religious expression.
