Hebrews 10:35 – Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
As a child of God, you are not excused from challenges. Most times, situations you are unprepared for arise to challenge your confidence in God. Issues in health, marriage, kids, finances, and ministry will arise to bring your faith to ground zero. This is why our opening scripture urges us not to give in to the pressures of life, knowing that a great reward awaits.
Why is confidence important and why does it attract great reward? Confidence is how you express your trust in the Word of God. Caleb and Joshua are perfect examples. They were among 10 spies sent to scout the Promised Land, but unlike the other 8, they did not focus on the giants and impossibilities. Instead, they trusted God’s promise and believed they had what it took to possess the land. Their confidence in God’s track record and their own abilities ultimately led to them possessing the land, while the doubters lost out. (Numbers 14:6-9).
The enemy attacks confidence because he knows that bold believers achieve great things. If you want to achieve more, stand firm in faith, believe God’s promises, refuse to entertain doubt, be determined and by all means lay hold on what is yours. Glory to God!
START-UP PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to maintain confidence in Your promises in trying times. Cause me to stand strong in faith, knowing that my success is guaranteed in You, in Jesus name.

Roman Catholicism has long been a part of Colombian culture, and more than ninety percent of Colombians identify themselves as Catholic, though far fewer are practicing. Since the 1991 constitution, other denominations have been given religious freedom, and the evangelical church has grown significantly. The extremist paramilitary groups view this growth as a threat, and many have reacted with violence against the evangelical leadership.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, we bind every strategy of hell against spiritual leaders in this nation, in the Name of Jesus.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, cause the leaders of this nation to shut down every opposition or threat against churches in Columbia, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every false doctrine in Israel, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that You sanitize the Church of every infiltration of strange spirits, that Your people may worship You in spirit and in truth in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, we ask that You pull from darkness all that You ordained to be Yours. Revive them oh Lord, that they may worship before Your temple all the days of their lives, in Jesus name.
