Audio Version
Matthew 9:36 (KJV) – But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
Compassion is the heartbeat of Christ’s ministry. When Jesus looked at the crowds, He saw their pain, their confusion, and their need for care. True love expresses itself not only in feeling, but in action—stepping in to meet the needs of others, comforting the hurting, and guiding the lost.
Serving with compassion requires sensitivity, humility, and a heart tuned to God. It is love in motion, practical and transformative. When our service is motivated by compassion, it carries God’s power to heal, restore, and bless, turning ordinary acts into extraordinary ministry.
Today, ask the Lord to fill your service with His compassion. Let every act of help, every word of encouragement, and every service rendered reflect the love of Jesus. As you serve with compassion, lives will be touched, hearts will be healed, and God’s glory will be revealed.
What a powerful time in God’s Word today! As you go forth, hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I declare that your service will overflow with compassion. Those you reach will experience God’s love, hearts will be restored, and your ministry will carry divine impact. Amen.
