Proverbs 3:1–2 – “My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.”
Many believe that long life can be secured through diet, fitness, or scientific advancements—and while these have their benefits, God offers a far greater and higher way: the simplicity of obedience. In our opening scripture, He clearly links the blessing of longevity to a heart that treasures His Word. When He says, “Forget not my law,” He is urging us to embrace His instructions, cherish His wisdom, and allow His Word to influence our daily lives.
Long life is more than simply living many years; it’s about living those years purposefully, and in alignment with God’s plan. When your obedience to the Word flows not just from duty but from a heart of love and trust, your life becomes firmly anchored in His wisdom. This anchoring sets you on a path where your days are not just extended but deeply meaningful and peaceful.
Begin today to treasure God’s Word and train your mind to obey the instructions that follow, and you will not only enjoy long life, you will live with meaning, fruitfulness, and peace. Hallelujah!
STARTUP PRAYER
Father, I thank You for Your promise of long life. Help me to value Your Word and obey your commands with all my heart, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION
CROATIA
Croatia faces lingering effects of past wars and communism. Economic growth is slow, with tourism and GDP impacted by COVID-19. High Catholic influence, but lukewarmness and cultural Christianity prevail. Ethnic divisions and past traumas still linger. Pockets of unreached people and spiritual apathy exist. Croatians need peace, reconciliation, and hope in Jesus. Prayer is needed for spiritual awakening and transformation.
PRAYER FOR THE NATION
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that your hunger will fill the hearts of the people in the land that they may seek you earnestly.
PRAYER FOR THE LEADERS
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that the spirit of reconciliation and peace will rest on the leaders of Croatia leading to the restoration of hope in the hearts of the people
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for your outstretched hand over Israel, protect Israel from every attack and opposition.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, in the name of Jesus, help us love one another as You have loved us, with a selfless and sacrificial love that binds us together.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for the unsaved in the nations that their hearts will be open to receive Your truth.
