John 11:28-29 (KJV) – “After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. “The Teacher is here,” she said, “and is asking for you.” When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to him.”
When God speaks, the only appropriate response is to show prompt attention. Many of us miss the speed of God because we procrastinate on the Word of God. We wait until we feel like it or until it’s convenient to obey. But true speed is found in prompt response to God’s word.
Delaying obedience is a form of unbelief and disobedience. It suggests that our own timing is better than God’s. However, when you move quickly at the Lord’s request, you align yourself with the flow of heaven. The miracle that Mary was about to see (the resurrection of Lazarus) was contingent on her getting up and going to meet the Master.
Today, check your heart for any delayed instructions. Is there a person you were supposed to forgive? A gift you were supposed to give? A step you were supposed to take? Get up quickly! The Lord is asking for you, and your next level of speed is hidden in your immediate obedience.
Hold on to this prophetic declaration from Prophet Isaiah Macwealth:
I decree that a spirit of prompt obedience is upon you! You will not delay your own miracle. Move at the Word of the Lord and see His glory today!

SECTION 2: PRAYING THE PROMISES
Start-Up Prayer
Father, I thank You for Your Word which is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Today, I repent of every form of delayed obedience and spiritual procrastination. I receive a heart that is sensitive and a spirit that is swift to respond to Your instructions.
Nation Focus: Palestine
Palestine is a region of profound biblical history and the site of many of the early miracles of the Church. However, centuries of territorial conflict, displacement, and political unrest have left a legacy of deep-seated trauma and bitterness. Today, many inhabitants live under a heavy cloud of economic hardship and uncertainty, with generations having grown up knowing only the environment of walls and checkpoints. While the region holds the “holy sites” of the faith, there is a visible spiritual struggle as the pressures of conflict often overshadow the message of the Gospel.
Prayer for a Nation – Palestine
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for humanitarian relief and the restoration of hope in Palestine. We decree a spiritual relocation for the people; move them from the grip of trauma and strife into the peace of Your Kingdom. Let the Prince of Peace reveal Himself in dreams and visions, turning hearts toward the Truth.
Prayer for Leaders
Lord, we pray for the leaders in the Middle East. Grant them the spirit of wisdom and the courage to pursue paths of peace. We decree that leaders who hinder Your purpose are relocated out of office, and those who will foster justice and stability are promoted with speed.
Prayer for Israel
Father, we pray for the safety of Israel’s borders. We also pray for a spirit of compassion and understanding between neighbours, that the walls of hostility may be broken down by Your grace.
Prayer for Unity in the Church
Lord, we pray for the Body of Christ to be relocated into a higher dimension of spiritual authority. We rebuke the spirit of stagnation and decree that the Church is moving with speed into global influence.
Prayer for Souls / Revival
Father, we pray for the harvest of souls from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Your Light. We decree that the scales are falling off the eyes of the lost in the Middle East and beyond.
